AWESOME!!!

This place is great. The staff is SO helpful. The room was great...clean, updated and VERY comfortable. The breakfast and the social time were incrediable. The pool was great. Really would highly recommend this place. Security was great too!!! Wonderful experience!!!
 
 
 
 
 
good BUT not worth the $189 room rate

My stay was nice, but not worth $189. I had to stay an additional day, but ending up going to a dfferent hotel that offered better rates. I always prefer Marriot hotels, but this one is a little lower on my rating scale. The positives for the Marriott Residence Inn hotel is that our room was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was GREAT! The office staff was nice, but the cleaning crew found a NICE black suede jacket we accidently forgot in the closet, and when we return just a few hours after checkout, it was gone, and of course no one seen it. The rooms were great, just the outside astetics made you feel like you were NOT at a Marriott Facility. Would I return again. Maybe.
 
 
 
 
 
WARNING!

I have NEVER in my life been so disappointed not only with a hotel but more so the customer service. We were given keys to another guests room who had clearly been staying for quite some time. We walked in on their room filled with personal undergarmets, phone numbers, mail, bills, laundry, guitars, telephone numbers... it was horrible. Then when we switched rooms, our next room had 22 dirty towels thrown on the couch AND 3 messages on the phone, one of which dated back over a month from the front desk with another guest's name and credit card information. When we contacted the front desk, we were literally laughed at and told that "people make mistakes and if we have a problem, just check out and be on our way." We did check out. And they still charged us extra. Please be careful and reconsider ever staying here.

Stay Away!!!!

The hotel is undergoing renovations - which it desperately needs. The penthouse suite we stayed in was very dirty: ground in dirt in carpeting, couch was filthy, bathroon doors looked like they had been chewed at by amimals. Staff was unwilling to help find another room - said they would help out on the rate, but never did. I would never stay there again. I'm sure there are many other hotels to chose from in Long Beach.

great service!

The staff is very friendly and the hotel feels like a home away from home. They have free beer and wine in the evening which is a great social hour along with a free dinner Monday thru Thursday. They also provide free full breakfast everyday! I highly recommend this hotel.
