Quisisana Palace, Middletown

We stayed here for the park and pay service and thought it would be better to spend the night instead of leaving home to fly early in the am. We were wrong. The rooms were not clean. I killed spiders, there were spider webs in the room. Furniture was dated which would be ok if it were clean, it was not. Chairs stained, just dirty. The matress was horrible and the room was noisy. Breakfast was cereal as someone said. We left our car there during our trip. On the return we called from the airport to be picked up. They told us to wait about 20 minutes, they never came. We called again and they told us to get a cab and they would pay for it. They did pay for the cab, but I would NEVER return to this hotel. It would be easier to leave home in the morning and just pay for long term parking at the airport. Please note they are changing the name of this hotel to Posada resort. Don't be fooled maybe they thought if they change the name no one would remember their bad experiences there.

Where to start...instead of 69 channels on the TV there were 9. The continental breakfast consisted of Raisin Bran and Frosted Flakes nothing as advertised. This is a remodeled older Motel. There was broken glass in the parking lots and the local Police Department visited someone staying in another room during our stay (apparently uninvited by the occupant). The staff were however very friendly and courteous with the room being very clean. This however did not make up for a dead bolt that did not work nor the ancient bath tub/shower.

The rooms were disgusting. There were no security locks on the doors. One door jamb looked like it had been kicked in. The door would not secure. I would not let a rat stay in these rooms. This has to be one of the worst motels I've encountered. We refused to stay and went to the Wingate just down the road.

Opened the door to a beer smell, someone messed in the bed, and a 6 pack on the floor. They would not refund our money because I prepaid over the internet. It was unsafe because the clerk told us that another customer complained about the same thing! I had a child with me!
