Conveniently located near SFO, this hotel provides complimentary airport shuttle. The room was the standard chain contemporary with tv and fee based internet service. The highpoint was the shower which featured an invigorating two head shower. Everything else was acceptable but not great. There is a small but adequate business center.
I arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed. I was told to either go to the bar or order room service. I was at the bar behind a couple of other would be diners. The bar tender assiduously avoided making any eye contact. The other people left after waiting for some acknowledgment from the bartender. (There were a few people actually eating and drinking at the bar and nearby table.) I sat at the bar and the bartender completely ignored me. However the two oriental men who came in after me were waited on immediately. Apparently white females are unworthy of service. I left and went to the front desk to complain but no one was there. I ordered room service and had the absolutely worst meal I have ever had in a hotel anywhere in the world. Adding insult to injury was the fact that this inedible dross was exceedingly overpriced. The next morning I braved the restaurant which was open for breakfast. The staff was friendly and the service good but the food was marginal but edible--warm orange juice, nasty starbucks coffee, a generous portion of pancakes. Again, the meal was a poor value even for a hotel restaurant. The gift shop was small and limited and manned by a glowering, hostile woman.
I booked this hotel primarily because I needed the shuttle service. I suppose it you have your own transportation or are a glutton for punishment staying here would be okay. However, there are many hotels in this area. All are priced similarly. I will not stay here again.
