Fairfield Inn by Marriott Milford, Milford

Nobody cleaned my room, changed sheets or gave fresh towels in the five days I was there. I had to do it myself and after third day ran into an employee who I asked why nobody was doing housekeeping or dumping my garbage. Booked this hotel specifically for the pool. Was assured pool would be open when I stayed there. Upon check in was told pool was closed. I paid extra and stayed a little further from my destination for a pool. Was not happy.

The staff is extremely rude. They don't care about their guests. When arriving in our room we were greeted with dirty towels all over the bathroom floor, no shampoo's/condiments and the room smelled like a party had just been hosted in it. We asked to be moved and they said no, we tried to consult the hotel manager and she wouldn't see us. Refused to even speak to us (even though she was there) and said if we kept bothering them about changing rooms we'd be thrown out of the hotel. Extremely nasty, and dirty. Wouldn't recommend staying here if you value your money.

we group of 10 people stayed here for 2 weeks for subway business trip, we asked for paper plates for group snack party one night, and receptionist was so rude and racist to help, and behaved badly, we are going to tell everybody we know about this.

The Fairfield Inn Milford is very conveniently located a block from an I-95 exit and three blocks from US 1. This is a nice clean hotel with all the basics a traveler would need without the unnecessary frills. There is plenty of free parking, a decent size, well-maintained pool and a complimentary breakfast that was not extravagant but offered plenty to choose from including make-your-own waffles, biscuits, cereal, pastries, fruit, juice and coffee. Our family of four stayed eight days during August 2007. The people staffing this facility were among the most congenial and efficient that I have encountered anywhere. On our first day there was a problem with our toilet and the manager offered us another room without even being asked. And, before we could even pack up for the room switch, a service person had arrived and fixed the problem anyway. There are many conveniences nearby, including the Milford Coin Launderette with economical and efficient wash-and-fold service near Milford Hospital. There are nearby beaches, fast-food, a good size shopping mall and a quaint downtown green with plenty of shops and restaurants in Milford. And of course, Dunkin Donuts out the yin-yang.

Room was comfortable and clean. The price was a bit high for one stay about $100. We preferred a King size bed and they only had a Full size available at the time. Overall we had a good stay and the room was very clean. I would recommend.
