Didn't even try to get a refund!

Room was not well kept and the odor of vomit hung in the air....there were men sitting on the curb next to the entrance of the building drinking at 4pm...We had paid in advance for 1 night, but immediately got in our car and left!! Didn't even attempt to get our money back! Would Never go back and probably will not even consider an Econo Lodge again!! Terrible experience.

EWWWW!!!!

This was by the far the worst, most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at! Cheap? YES! But NOT WORTH THE DEAL! The hallways smell horrible, the parking lot is dark and scary and the rooms are DISGUSTING! There was absolutely nothing clean about them! The bedding was old and smelly, the towels were covered in what appeared to be animal hair and lint and the door barley locked. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just spend the extra $20 or so and stay somewhere else!

Never Again

I did not enjoy my stay. This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stay at. I'll never stay here again. For example, I told the manager that I had no internet access, and he was not receptive in resolving the issue. I asked for more towels and he only gave me 1. There were too many unpleasant areas in this building: ice machine is too dirty, walls falling apart, rugs too dirty, and a fowl odor in the air. This is not a statement from anger but the truth as it is. If you don’t believe me stay here and you’ll find out.

Worst Place I Ever Stayed!

I have stayed in different Choice Hotel chains before but this Econo Lodge was the most disappointing. I have even travelled across country and didnt find any hotel as nasty as this one. It is set far back from the road (Its behind Buca de Beppo), its dark, the parking lot needs to be repaved. The exterior doors are noisy as "heck" and will keep you tossing and turning all night long. The corridors were filthy and had a horrible smell (cat pee? curry? bug spray?) The bathroom was probably the nicest thing about this place and wasnt even that nice. The continental breakfast was awful - I have never had a more disappointing contintental breakfast. Coffee, hot water (no tea or decaf), raisin brain or corn flakes and some packaged danish that looked OLD! Someone else wrote about other items they had but I didnt see anything else there. To me the hotel (motel) was CREEPY! I wouldnt stay there again for FREE! If you want cheap - check out Americas Best Inn on Central Ave - not far from this one - cheaper - and certainly much better looking!

I would go back

I stayed 3 nights and felt it was a terrific value for the money. Convenient location (about 1/2 mile from Exit 2E) to malls and restaurants. The room was well-supplied with everything you need except a coffee maker (I brought my own)...even had a working refrigerator that kept everything REALLY cold. Being a fresh air freak I definitely liked the fact that the window opened (that's hard to find)! The TV channel selection was extensive with a convenient guide in the room. There was some dust under the TV and a couple of cobwebs over the drapes (I should talk!), but basically the room was clean. Overall....a great experience.

Not bad not great

Wasn't that difficult to find once we took the correct exit off 87 (2E). Looked for a motel behind a restaurant and easily found it. Room was small (one queen size bed).Shopping plaza across the street. The stopper on the bathroom sink was missing. They spent money on a new shower installation and left in a terrible shower head (spend another $20.00 please for a pulsating shower head). Was quiet, being off the main road a little hit. Was near an airport, but didn't many planes. Had to go to the front desk for ice. Continental breakfast included cheap powdered and plain doughnuts, english muffins, great orange juice. Clerks were neither friendly nor unfriendly.

I was totally disappointed!

When I got to this hotel, it was hard to find because it is far back from the road and the sign is hard to see. Good thing! You should keep on going. My expectations were for a place that was clean, inexpensive and moderately quiet so I could sleep after watching a basketball game on ESPN2. When I got to my room, this "renovated" hotel basically has a new coat of paint and new carpeting. Looks like the bathrooms were partially fixed-up as well, but the place was only marginally clean (NOTE: I grew up with 3 brothers and don't have really high standards for cleanliness like some people do.) I was willing to put up with this, but when I went to the front desk to complain that my TV was programmed wrong and I couldn't see my basketball game -- the game that prompted me to seek out a cheap hotel, rather than drive home and miss it -- they told me they would fix it the next day! No new room. No offer of maintenance. Nothing. I went to bed in frustration and checked out. Never again! PS: The coffee was terrible too.
