Four years ago my daughter was to have her wedding reception here and they called friday night before the wedding and said it was doubled booked. We had a reservation for one year and had gone that thursday and told them how we wanted it set up. Now my 25th wedding annaversary party was booked 7 months ago and I go a conf # and have called every month to double check and now it is 4 days till the party and they have no record of the party. I have names and dates I was told they would fax me a contract and I haven't heard from them. These are very important to people. Now I may not even get to have a cash bar because of thier irresposabilty. Someone keeps dropping the ball and it is hurting people. I hope someone will fix this problem fast.

The hotel is beautiful. It almost looks like a Manor House. Full of character and charm. This would be a great place for an elegant wedding. I just loved it.

Our first day, They got our rooms mixed up. No big deal fixable! However, when we get to our room we first notice garbage and a comforter in a bag with a push broom by it outside the room, we assume the maid is in the area, The garage is still there 12 hours later. The second evening the garbage is gone but the nasty comforter and broom is NOT, I had to move it down the hall and finally it was moved the third day! The Arm on the chair was broken in our suite, NO BIGGY We didn't use it! The iron was messed up, we requested a new one. The Maid said she would bring us one.. BUT TWO DAYS AND NOTHING! We even left "her" note on the table, where she said she would bring us one, but still NO IRON ("THANKS SO MUCH CAROL!) The Hallway looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a week or longer. Our room NEVER WAS! We had a suite and only enough towls for two people. When we requested things from the front desk they would not help us, but kept refering us to the "MAID". We asked for a wake up call, Did not get it! The coffee was OLD and a friend said they got back the second day and their room was never cleaned at all (OLD DIRTY SHEETS & OLD TOWLS) The hotel hot tub got warm NOT hot and did not bubble (That's an invitation for diseases) Outside pool had stuff in it. I was on the third floor and still heard the traffic. As for the Price and location.. Well I can't give praise when that's why I picked it. I wouldn't have stayed there if it was more expensive. But if I would have known all the problems, I would have paid more and stayed else where. I have NEVER gave my opinion of a hotel before online, but I am not exagerating when I say. THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT! I have exagerated about nothing and I tell the truth! I have stayed at alot of cheep motels and hotels.. And I am use to them being a little dirty or a few problems.. Simply put the staff treat it like a job they hate! Oh, yea be careful.. MY friend paid with CASH and they wouldn't give her a receipt.. Hope that doesn't come back to bite her! I GIVE IT A D- The only reason I don't give it an F is because of the price and breakfast was ok, it did have wireless even though the signal was poor in the evening.
