Nautilus Inn, The, Daytona Beach

All around great property, friendly, clean, awsome location and great value for the dollar!!

We rode our bike from VA and spent the week of Biketoberfest here and we will never stay at another place. This is the 8th year we have visited at this time of the year.You "big name" chain hotels need to take note from this hotel on how to treat guests.This is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff met us with a smile and assured us they would take care of us, and they did! Everyone was so nice and made us feel that they really appreciated our business. My husband and I live in Central Fla and now when we head east we will be headed to the Nautilus - "our" new place in Daytona. It was so wonderfully peaceful, spotless and friendly. Had a full kitchen - efficiency size - with full size fridge. They had a free continental breakfast from 8-10 which unfortunately we slept through each day, but we did take part in their happy hour from 5-8, we aren't sure if that is all comp, but the first drink is. They had a duo entertaining and playing the "older" classics - not our style, but the Canadian tour group seemed to enjoy it. We took a picnic down to the beach for dinner - perfect! Oh, it is also totally non-smoking - even more perfect! I thought it was a little pricy for the season being over, but comparable with the other nicer hotels in the area.

We love Mary, Rick, Heather - and everyone one of the staff, from maintenance to security to housekeeping.. Awesome every single time. We live in south Georgia and we can't wait for each visit. Professional, Clean, Fun, Secure, Very Friendly and "Eager-to-Accomodate" staff. They always remember your name which is almost extinct in our society now. They welcome you by saying "Welcome Home". We love the entire staff (they all go above and beyond), but one person has gone well above and beyond her job description: HEATHER. She has left the property in her personal car and bought flowers -each time my husband has asked. The one word I could use to describe the Nautilus "AWESOME". There is nothing we dislike.

Location was pretty good, hotel was clean, quiet until my group got there. Staff was friendly. Other guests were also great, I chatted it up with most everyone during my stay. The pool can get crowded but there is always the beach.

I have been in the military which means I have stayed in many places to include AF Officer's temporary lodging quarters. With that said, I would have to sat that the rooms and overall facility at NAUTILUS IN IS TOPS IN MY BOOK. That is taking all amenities into consideration. Baring availability, I probably will not stay anyplace else, and I am planning an anniversary trip soon. Thanks to Rick and the rest of the staff. Kevin K

We loved this place! We orginally booked through Expedia, and were to stay at the Inn on the Beach, it was terrible there, and we read a sign at the Nautilus that said "not happy cheack us out", and I am so glad we did! When we went in we met Cailin and Cory who were friendly and took us up to tour the rooms and hotel before we even booked, the hotel was spotless and so refreshing. They had happy hour from 5-6 nightly with free drinks, and they entertained our entire family every day. We had a large clean room right on the ocean with a full kitchen. The price was great. The staff was awesome. I would never stay anywhere else in Daytona again. The grounds were well kept, the pool clean. We felt like we were staying in a 5 star resort.

We loved this place stayed for a week and boy there was alot of people from Canada there by the way thats where we are from so we felt right at home not to mention the room was very clean fresh bedding every day and it smelled fresh loved it and will go back

we stayed there several years ago. it was excellent. room was very clean. view of the beach very nice.hospitality was superb. will come there again in the future.

great location-happey hour is fun geting to talk to folks from different parts of the u.s. an canada. parking can be a little tight some times but we have never had to park across the street. we have stayed in virgina beach couple of times now that has always been a nightmare.
