Southern character & charm
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/09
The Inn has a character that lends itself to exploration of every corner of the "Big House". The owner is a very shy lady with a wonderful, soft-spoken manner. Red, for the color of her hair, was a Southern delight for sure. She was the hostess when we visited. My son has talked about going back to see Red for almost a year now. The food was delicious & included in the price of the room, breakfast anyway (fresh fruit, rosemary potatoes, scrambled eggs & homemade biscuits...yum!). The produce is grown locally by the owner. Truly, it's as if you stopped by a friends house to eat dinner & stay the night. Such a nice change from the generic, no personality places we usually stay. We have two trips to Brevard planned in 2009 and we'll be staying at the Inn for both.

We'll never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/07
The inn itself was mediocre, but both before and after our stay, each month I would get another charge or two from them on our American Express bill. For a stay that should have cost us around $350 or so, we were ultimately billed on our credit card around $1,200, plus we ate one meal for which we were billed twice on our credit card. I contacted the inn by phone and by e-mail several times, but the person with whom I spoke said we would have to talk with the owners. The owners never would return our phone calls, however. We finally had to contact American Express to get our money back. American express told us that the inn owners never answered their requests for information, either.

Beautiful Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/06
This B&B was absolutely beautiful, with great food, decorated with authentic antiques, and luxurious rooms. The hosts were very gracious and the employees helpful. Also, the history of the Inn along with the original items from the early 1900s late 1800s makes this stay quite enjoyable. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

we want ever go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/02/06
Building is in dis-repair, not handi-cap accessiable as advertised, over charges for food and drink and no night attendant. No telephones in rooms, window air condition units that do not work or very loud.
