Poor customer Service
By ,
We stayed at this location for 3 nights as my oldest step daughter was in Taos for All Star softball games. On the last day they won their championship game and the coach wanted to take them swimming so we went back to the hotel to use the pool. But they would not let us use the pool as we had check out not to long before. They also have no clue how a line operates with their breakfast you have to wait to be seated. We stood in line and they where pulling people from everywhere in line but the front. And when confronted about this they just say "oh well". I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Clean Older Property
By ,
This Quality Inn is an older motel but very clean and the staff was very pleasant. The in-house breakfast is all anyone could ask for: 4 choices from eggs, bacon and hashbrowns to pancakes, french toast or cereal and a grapefruit half. The local village of Taos Pueblo is a must see! For the evening meal there is a place called Orlando's, which is NM cuisine and the Guadalahara Grill which is authenic mexican, very good and just down the street from the Quality Inn.. We had an overall good experience.

Worth the Price
By ,
My son and I traveled without Dad and we felt safe at this hotel. The pool was very clean and safe. Liked the location by great inexpensive restaurants and Hwys to tourist sites. If you have allergies or asthma be warned! The carpet (even though vacumed) had pet hair all over it. Also the bathroom floor was very mildewy and moldy which you could smell the minute we walked in. We wore our flip-flops so we wouldn't get athlete's foot or something. My allergies were terrible the first night there. The dresser was broken and a bit of a pain. The beds were comfortable. Given the cons, we would stay again because it was a great price with a great pool. Would look at other hotels first before committing to this one though.

We can't wait to go back
By ,
The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

Good value for price
By ,
I have stayed here (at least) 6 times, visiting family nearby. It is a good value for the price: free full breakfast, decent-sized rooms, respectable decor, hot tub, etc. for $67-80 per night outside of major weekends. The location is OK -- bad because it's in a section of town with strip malls and WalMart, but also good because it's fairly close to the highways to Santa Fe and Chimayo, etc. It's not that attractice outside, but the rooms and the lobby are quite pleasant.
