Windemere Hotel & Conf Ctr, Sierra Vista

Horrible Customer Service, moldly smelly room, Giving the hotel a chance against my better judgement I checked in and the horrors begun the front desk staff was rude and could not answer any questions about the hotel or the community or maybe just didnt care. My reservation was cancelled for reasons that could not be explained. Then at a higher rate and smaller room I proceded to my room. I found my room unclean with a horrible mold smell as I entered the room. Trash still in the can and dirty sheets on my bed. After 8 calls to front desk nobody came to address the problems. I repacked my bags and proceeded to the front desk to check out. I was told no refund would be given and that if I didnt leave Sierra Vista police would be called for trespassing on private property. So I left and checked into the Marriot and called my credit card company to stop payment on the room at the Windemere and found out not only had the payment been charged but they charged my card double the rate. Now my complaint sits at the BBB and hopefully this will be resolved. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here while getting married in Sierra Vista. I also urged all family and friends to stay here too. What a HUGE mistake!! They lost my reservation, then my mom ended up paying for my hotel room. They stuffed me in a dingy, mildew-smelling room. The room next door was vacant and the alarm clock was going off. I called the front desk several times for them to go in there and shut it off and they never came. Then a few days later, without my knowledge, they ended up charging MY credit card for the room (although they first claimed to have lost that reservation). The room charges threw my account into overdraft. I had to pay my bank A LOT for overdraft fees. The accountant at the hotel was very unfriendly about the whole situation. They did nothing to help me resolve this. Because of THEIR mistake, I had to forego my own honeymoon!!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AGAIN.

I checked in and went immediately to my room; using the bathroom and find out that the toilet wouldn't flush! Called front desk for service...after two calls and frustration and no one came to my room, I went to the from desk where I waited another 15+minutes to request another room. If this was not a government conference and knowing that most hotels were full, I would have gone to another hotel. Ok, new room, with a squealing shower was scary, to say the least. The elevator had a ratty rug on the floor (unsafe) and very dingy appearance; the halls and rooms smelled moldy. Yes, there was some renovation going on at the hotel, but not in these areas. This hotel did not meet the standards that it profess to have. Also, you would think that another person would assist with registration and phone calls; there was one person trying to do it all...a slow process.

A two dayi visit by my daughter and grandson over Thanksgiving was a disaster! The room was filthy with mold in the coffee maker, slime on the shower curtains and inadequate towels. On check out, the front desk clerk tried to collect double the established room rate but finally backed down when the computer showed her wrong! Several hours after checking out, the motel was called from the Tucson airport to seek their help in recovery of a Nintendo DS Handheld Computer Game accidentally left in the room. Their response was that they were too busy to check. Calls for five consecutive days were fluffed off for various feeble excuses. They could care less! Don't stayi here!

Customer service POOR, rooms old, outdated, dirty, unkept. Unpleasant odor to halls and rooms. AM breakfast was satisfactory, if not out of the food. Desk staff unfriendly, and charged more than was stated on reservation on line!
