Lovely spacious room, friendly innkeeper!

We stayed at The Inn at Park Spring in July 2011 as a young gay couple and felt completely at home! Our room, The Museum, was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was large. Our innkeeper John was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us around the city. All of the guests we met at breakfast were fantastic! Would definitely return!

Warm and welcoming

After traveling all day, we sort of stumbled upon this inn. We couldn't have found a nicer place for the night. Friendly, warm and welcoming. The room - ours was the Murphy room was perfect. It rained that night and the sound of the rain on the roof outside our room was soothing. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous. We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to going back.

Not what was expected

I stayed at this Inn in January 07. Room was less than average. Plumbing in bathroom did not work well. Rug in bedroom was dirty. Food at breakfast was really terrible ... way too much sugar. Coffee was not ready at breakfast time. No TV in rooms. Only benefit was location in downtown Portland.

comfortable inn with top service

I stayed at the inn in a beautifully decorated, spacious room with a large bathroom. The innkeeper was the friendliest I have ever met. I made use of the television in the living room. There is ample parking in a very near parking lot. The location is good, very near the art museum and Victoria Mansion, and a short walk to the Old Port area. The room was a very good value, with prices lower than the nice inns right in or very close to the Old Port/waterfront. I would definitely recommend staying here.
