Motel 6, Paducah

I was given a room quickly only to open the door and find 2 naked people sleeping in the bed!. I was given another room after waiting about an hour for them to clean it. police were in the parking lot several times. My son opened the hotel door and a woman was outside our door yelling down to people she knew and was wearing only a tank top and panties. The staff did nothing to compensate for all this. I will never stay at any motel 6. nor will my family or anyone i can relate this story too. Very poorly run and should be ashamed to work there .

This was a great stay for the money. The shower and bath tub had to be my wow point...big and spacious. The room was very nice and clean and staff were very friendly. If only there was a microwave/fridge in the room it would have been throught the roof. Very close to everting too!

i recommend this motel for the price...the location is perfect..good location..around great places to eat...a/c was really good.. clean..non smoking room requested..smelled a little like smoke...but not too bad..will stay there again..laundry room was good..pool was nice...people were very helpful...housekeeping was good..just had to go pick up our own towels....we were there for an asa archery tournament...will stay there again...

This motel is being renovated, so almost everything (furniture, bath fittings, paint, linen, carpet, etc) is brand new. However, not everything has been re-habbed, yet. Outside looks grungy, maybe it's next. Had a big sign out front "WIFI HERE", which is a must for me, and most road warriors. I forgot to ask if I needed a wifi password, when I checked in, and sure enough, my computer wouldn't connect to the motel's WAN. When I called the desk, she said I needed to pay $3 and come get a "card", which I would then need to scratch off to get the password. This is ludicrous. Why not add the $3 charge to the room. The scratch off card means they don't trust their own staff with the wifi connection? Went back to the office to get the card. An older lady (cleaning staff) was standing at the counter having a personal conversation on the phone - in part, talking about some guy who had "troubles down below", meaning a large groin boil or "knot" (she said). This went on for almost 5 minutes, while she's watching me wait for help. After he call, then she summons the clerk from a back office, and jokes about why I "didn't make a noise" and let people know I was there. Clean room, good value, quirky wifi service, quirkier staff.

I would recommend this motel to anyone that needs a nice place to sleep for a very reasonal rate. I have stayed here on more than one occassion and have always been pleased. The rooms are clean and the office staff have been very friendly. I like the location of the motel also. It is very close to many restaurants and shopping. I also like that there is a traffic light outside the entrance for easy access.
