people are friendly and the owners come out and talk to you and you have very nice waitresses i will go back

WOW!!! The Beltway Diner has drastically changed....all remodeled from floor to ceiling...the food is wonderful and the staff goes out of their way to please. The crowd is like Cheers...everybody knows your name...lol...a real comfortable place to eat. I also hear they will be reopening the lounge this spring when they are done remodeling it too. They may even have crabs this summer. The services was outstanding, Melanie and Diana were there when I stopped in and were a pleasure to be served by. This place has definitely had a face lift with a lot of class. I was extremely impressed.

I stopped in their Restaurant because I saw a "coffee" sign outside. Once inside, the place (more like a diner) looked like it had been remodeled and thoroughly cleaned. Their menu looked good and reasonable, so I tried the Talipa special. Wow...what a deal. I'm going back to try their steak, which the couple in the booth next to me had. They said it was excellent. This place is obviously under new management. Get their cheesecake for dessert; it's great. All in all, a pleasant surprise.

A place to sleep, plain and simple. Been staying here for the last 15 years when we come up for the Preakness Race. Bar is ok and the staff there very friendly. Price is right. The place is not kept up very well but we get in late, sleep, and get up early for the race so we aren't there for long. We just jump on the adjacent Balto Beltway and avoid all the downtown traffic as we head to Pimlico.

Take a trip back to the 1970's at the Beltway Hotel. Vintage furniture, carpeting, and dirt await you. Enjoy a panoramic view of Home Depot from the rear balcony. Lay awake on a Friday night for the sounds of the dumpster being emptied at 3AM. Enjoy scrapple for breakfast in the motel's onsite diner. I would recommend staying in your vehicle before staying here.

we thourht that the place was too dirty. while eating a girl off the street came in and was looking for a man (dirty stuff). was a very bad expenence all around
