Just got back
If you like antiques, you will like this hotel. Antiques are everywhere (Gaudy victorian style) and where there aren't antiques, there are reproductions of antiques. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was snobby and it didn't seem like they wanted to serve me and my three guests (we weren't dressed for it). The food took forever to arrive.
The indoor/outdoor pool is nice, but not very large. It could easily get crowded. There is no pool that is completely indoors, we were hit with a lightning storm one evening and could not access the pool inside or out so there was an amenity that we paid for but could not use.
We stayed on the more expensive concierge floor and on one of the regular floors. The only difference was rooftop access. The only thing on the rooftop is a nice view and a four person jacuzzi that was unbearably cold (91 degrees) on the first night that we went. Also, there are no kids allowed on the concierge level which makes it nice to stay there.
Most of the staff was really friendly and helpful, I can't say enough good about them. The bartenders, the servers, we felt like we lucked out everytime we dealt with staff. The hotel is very gay friendly and we had no problems with that.
I can't justify the price for the amenities, the view was spectacular, but I would think that I could have gotten the same thing from the hotel next door, next time, I might try it.
Room service was quick and so were requests for extra towels and the like.
If you have never been to rehoboth... Go.. its a very nice and charming beach town.
The beach closes at one and the patrol are like mall guards. They take their job very seriously, so if you want to take a night walk among the beach, do it before one. No one could explain the purpose of this rule to me, but we do so love our rules.
I would recommend the hotel, but only if you have exra money to burn.
