Nootka Lodge, Woodsville

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Nootka Lodge in a jacuzzi room and we had hardly any complaints during our stay. Although the jacuzzi was really a tub with jets, it was still really relaxing. The facility whirlpool was located right next to our room as well which was convenient. The room was absolutely immaculate when we arrived and our king sized bed was decently comfortable. Our room was very large and spacious and more then we expected. The only minor complaints we had were with the staff. When we checked in we had a very rude receptionist who barely acknowledged us and had very poor customer service skills. However, we went back later to the office to ask for some restaurants and a different lady was at the desk. She was extremely helpful and friendly. We were awakened in the morning by an arguing couple in the room next to ours but that was a minor problem. Other then that, the facility was extremely quiet. The Nootka Lodge is a great lodge for a very relaxing get-away! We would definitly go back.

I made reservations numerous weeks in advance for a mini family reunion. Three days before our departure I was called and informed that the two rooms I wanted were no longer available, but that they had a single room that would work out better. When I arrived I find the room has one king size bed and two futons. The people knew that in addition to myself and my husband the other room was for my 84 year old father. Can you imagine an 84 year old man sleeping on a futon!! No other rooms were available and I had to spend all night driving back home. If you need a guaranteed room, don't book here!!

Nootka is just the greatest place to stay. Very clean rooms and great all round staff. I totally enjoy my stays. Will be back soon. Thanks for everything.

My husband abd i stayed 2 nights this summer. We were consulting with nearby Coventry log Homes as we had lost our home in the catskills. I have been staying at Nootka lodge for the past 8 years during the leefpeeping season. I love it,cost effective centrally located,I keep going back every year.
