Dunscroft By The Sea/Cape Cod, Harwich Port

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely B & B. We could not have asked for a more peaceful place or a better location, just yards from a very private beach where the water was perfect for swimming - warm and calm. The decor was lovely, the rooms spotlessly clean and the hot breakfasts served in the beautiful dining room were delicious. Alyce, the Innkeeper was warm, charming, and welcoming. Can't wait to return.

Lovely B & B - Alyce was a wonderful hostess... Very Clean and most of all, cozy [we had the Cottage]...We were there in mid- June before the summer rush so the private beach was heaven. The location of the Dunscroft is its best asset. It's an easy walk to beautiful, private beach front. Our room was a bit small, and could be cleaner (the rug needed vacuuming, and there was a cobweb in the bathroom). We ate three breakfasts there. Twice she served stale scones, and once pancakes that were clearly reheated. One morning she wasn't ready for breakfast, and we waited 10-15 minutes for coffee. Parking was ample.
