Motel 6 Pismo Beach, Pismo Beach

This hotel was nice when i walked into the room, the front desk clerk gave us a hard time when the company we were working for sent the card # ahead of time so we wouldnt have to deal with being short on cash for our trip, had to pay cash anyway. We had to pay $3 for every electrical device seperatly, we called the front desk it rang no answer, we went down to the office twice only one person and a line out the door, even after waiting and asking we still didnt recieve another pillow. The pillows are so hard along with the bed, I woke up with my ears aching, the place sounds like its frame is made of metal and the ceilings made of balsa wood. I got no sleep people were screaming all night, the people above us NEVER went to sleep, it made me miserable now I get to get up go to work and hopefully pull myself out of this misery.

no fridge or microwave, i got bit by bed bugs!!!! no complimentary breakfast.. could stay somewhere else cheaper for better services than this crap hole!!! no heated poor or spa!

our room was recently painted. very clean. the shower was newly updated.The bed was comfortable. We were here for the weekend and just needed to sleep and shower and this place was perfect. we spent out money on the sights and food not on a hotel. Would gladly stay there again.

me & my family were looking for a cheap afforadble hotel to go to beautiful pismo beach but there all expensive & we noticed this one is cheap but we wanted a hotel thats a beach front hotel we were wondering if it was one so if anyone is willing to answer this question thank you have a nice day

Last summer my family and I wanted to go to the beach but we couldn't afford to stay in one of the nice resorts. Since we only needed a room to sleep and shower in Motel 6 was perfect n affordable. The kids had a blast we spent some really good quality time together and that's what matters most. The room was clean and we would gladly stay there agaian

GREAT location, excellent price, safe, clean, they allow pets, relatively quiet, spacious. I would stay here again as it's cheap and you get the basic necessities covered!

True, it is not the Ritz. But it is charming for a low budget motel. The price was great, the service OK, clean swimming pool and it allows pets! You are only 5 minutes to Grover Dunes OHV park. Dennys is next door. If you want room service look elsewhere. If you want value and your dog with you when you go riding on the beach.... STAY HERE! We are already planning our next trip.

Had a terrible experience with this hotel. The manager was very rude and one of the night clerks wasn't friendly at all. The pool was very small. The maid's don't do a good job cleaning, and can hardly understand any English. The so called credit card type keys they have for their patrons usually don't work because they always seem to change the codes on them, meaning you have to go back to the lobby and have it reactivate again. During the holiday's, there were quite a few young, hip hop type partier's staying there, making noise and such. Most likely since they had a room and didn't have to drive, they figured they could get drunk or what-ever. I don't mind that, but they were loud. Speaking of noise, 4th street is a very busy street. It's how you can get from Pismo Beach into Grover Beach. It's also the route that many emergency departments take to get into Grover Beach, such as Police and Fire, so they are always wailing their sirens. You'd think Motel 6 would be a good choice because of the rates, but if you just look around the area, you can find other hotels for about the same, and you wouldn't have to deal with all the problems this motel has. Will never go back...... and don't say I didn't warn you.

Waddya Want, it is Not the RITZ. It is convienient, simple, has NON-SMOKING ROOMS/Handicap Parking and Handicap access to the rooms. Queen Beds, There is ICE, it isn't delivered, you go get it. There are also vending machines, No Room Service, but they have an ARCO gas station, a Denny's on the same property. Across the street (North) is a Grocery Store, like a Major Chain Store and a large out door mall type area, LOTS of stores to shop in. If you don't want ARCO GAS, down the street is a 76 Gas Station. Next to the Freeway 101. Convienient on-ramp. Go down 4th to Main, hang a right and you're on HWY 1, at the beach. (the Pier is to the right). I don't need an Ocean View, or a second story balcony. The place is quiet & safe as any place. Just like your HOME,the plumbing can't take it, don't stuff the toilet w/ paper/toss it in the garbage.... If things aren't in the room, GO ASK, they're very nice there. We always stay there when passing through.
