Sandman Motel, Santa Rosa

The beds were fabulous. I got a great nights sleep. The breakfast was very nice with many things to choose from. The pool and hot tub were clean and the pool large enough for many people to swim and not be crowded. There is a mall and restaurants within a short driving distance. I found the front desk staff to be "chilly" especially when we were asking about things to do in the area. They seemed to want to get you in and out as quick as possible even when no one else was in the office. I thought it was a very comfortable and clean place. For the price is was a good value. I would stay there again, just wouldn't rely on the front desk staff for much assistance. Note: This hotel has all outside entrances.

My fiance stay here regularly. We love the breakfast. The only complaint is the 3 funny pillows on the bed. If you just want a normal place to sleep for under a hundred, this will do it.

Perfect place for getting a good night's rest while touring the wine country. Good price, decent room amenities, and a lovely breakfast by the pool. Dog Friendly.

I was concerned, because of another review had mentioned that the beds were not comfortable, but our beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed our recent stay. We enjoy the continental breakfast, which offers cereal, bagels, bread for toast, belgain waffles, yogurt, juice coffee, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. All for free! The pool area is spacious and clean. The only problem we had was with the ethernet hook-up for internet, so I would suggest before unpacking anything...test the internet connection. That way if they have to move you to another room, you don't have to pack up to move. We will stay again, as long as we have relatives in that area!

I've heard so many people say this is a great place to stay, but I didn't see the value. While the room was clean, it is also outdated and we experienced a great deal of noise from the parking lot throughout the night.

The room was clean and quiet. This motel was very close to a family gathering so perfect for our needs. BUT the mattresses were very poor in our 6 rooms. If you have a bad back, I suggest an Aerobed for the top or be prepared for a bad day

You can not beat the value of this motel.
