great place except

I love the minimalism of the rooms and the fact that they have three pools, and its quite, most of the time., no t.v.'s or telephones.
I always travel midweek to avoid the crowds, usually arriving on Monday or Sunday. Services are o.k. I tried their massage services twice. Each time was fine but not amazing and you pay top dollar. The manager tends to be in your business more than she should be and acts put out.
Don't expect to have lunch there if your aren't there at peak times, even though the web site says it's offered at an additional price. The three times I stayed lunch wasn't offered because the care taker "wasn't up to it", because she had provided for people on the weekend and needed a break. Which was a pain, since I had not booked a room with a kitchen .
I chose this place eventhough the rate was higher than other spas in the area because it was small and seemed to provide service and privacy. The first time I figure oh well, the second time I was put off, and the third time i've decided not to go back.
If you don't mind personal questions , a loud nasily voice shouting across the pool to get your attention and booking a room at a higher rate that has a kitchen so that you can cook, you should go for it.
