Biggest waste of money!

For the price that we were paying, we were expecting to be staying, at the very least, in a nice place. By conversing with other unsatisfied guests, we learned that others had been given better rates, despite the fact that we were staying in identical rooms. Immediatly upon check in, we were poorly greety with unwelcoming service. Not only was the room tiny, but the bathroom seemed to be designed for a midgit, and it took at least 15 minutes to get the water heated. The decor was a bit outdated, as well as the furniture, which had many badly hidded stains. Not even the smoke alarm worked when the room was filled with smoke from the fireplace. Aside from the small selection from the "extended" continental breakfast, the food tasted like it was weeks old. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Carmel put their money to good use and not stay at the Garden Court Inn.
