Oldie But Goodie
On our way to Spokane from St George, we stayed at the Best Western, which I thought would be fine because of Best Westerns name. Room was $95.00 and absolutely not worth it. As we were leaving town, I drove into Sundowners parking lot, saw a couple just leaving, asked their opinion. They said Sundowner was clean and comfortable.
I made reservations to stay there on our return trip. Michelle, who made the resveration, was most friendly. It's an older motel, but must have been recently remodeled, because the bathroom was modern, clean and the towels were a thick and thirsty as any I've had in expensive motels. The room was very clean. Ashley, the young woman that checked us in was most pleasant, and acted as if she was glad we had chosen them. Cost of the room for 2 was $51.00, and well well worth it. As for location, its off the freeway about 2 miles, in downtown Dillon, easy to get to. Dillon is a small town. Safeway is about a block away, as is a McDonalds. Service station also very close. I can highly recommend it and will use it when we travel north again.
