Sundowner Motel, Dillon

I have been going to Dillon since 1997,My choice is always the Sundowner Motel. It is Clean,convenient,comfortable,and cheap.Owned and operated by a real gentleman. C.Devine Nashua New Hampshire USA

On our way to Spokane from St George, we stayed at the Best Western, which I thought would be fine because of Best Westerns name. Room was $95.00 and absolutely not worth it. As we were leaving town, I drove into Sundowners parking lot, saw a couple just leaving, asked their opinion. They said Sundowner was clean and comfortable. I made reservations to stay there on our return trip. Michelle, who made the resveration, was most friendly. It's an older motel, but must have been recently remodeled, because the bathroom was modern, clean and the towels were a thick and thirsty as any I've had in expensive motels. The room was very clean. Ashley, the young woman that checked us in was most pleasant, and acted as if she was glad we had chosen them. Cost of the room for 2 was $51.00, and well well worth it. As for location, its off the freeway about 2 miles, in downtown Dillon,easy to get to. Dillon is a small town. Safeway is about a block away, as is a McDonalds. Service station also very close. I can highly recommend it and will use it when we travel north again.

This motel quotes a different room rate every time you call. I guess it depends on the time of day you call, the day of the week, and who you talk to. Not the way I like to do business.

We stay to this hotel everytime we go to Dillon for a Western football game....we've been staying here for 5 years and have 2 more to go as our boys play for the team. The only complaint I have is we left a Western sweatshirt on one of the beds and called as soon as we arrived home to let them know and they said it was never found!

I WAS TOLD BY OFFICE HELP MAIDS ARE NOT TRAIN,VERY WELL. OUR ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED VERY WELL, DIRT ON HEAD BOARD,OLD KLEENX WAS LEFT BETWEEN HEADBOARD AND MATTRESS,LOTS OF SPIDER WEBS.AIR CONDITIONER WAS VERY DIRTY.TV WAS VERT DUSTY WE TOOK A PICTURE OF THE WASH CLOTH AFTER I WAS DONE CLEANING. YES THE PRICE WAS CHEAP BUT ITS NO EXCUSE FOR A ROOM TO BE DIRTY.. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. IT WAS RATED AAA ON THE BILL BOARD (SHAME ON YOU)

it a very clean hotel close to downtown dillon and that why I give it a four star the beds are great and cn go to a cafe or a movie close by
