Is it really Haunted?

My husband and I stayed in July 2009, we arrived early, which we were able to check in early. The front desk took us up in the elevator since we were on the 3rd floor. The elevator is very old so you can not use it yourself. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the food wonderful. Ice wine out of this world! The breakfast was good, lots of muffins, cookies, eggs, toast, tea, coffee and OJ. The room was cute, clean but very hot. There was a ceiling fan and a very small table fan. None of the windows opened more then 2 inches. That was our only problem, no air conditioning. I don't know if I can say it is haunted with what happened to me. There was a noise in the shower as if someone was in there and water running in the sink (2different times heard this) as if you were washing your face, very loud and clear. During the night I heard doors slamming very loud, like if a person was angry and slamming them over and over. I didn't go out to see what it was. Then finally I was able to fall asleep and some thing or someone touched my hand. It felt like a woman's hand reaching on to my hand, as to hold it. So there you have it....As for the town, is very nice. Lots of old buildings, shops and houses. We road around just looking at the old homes. Then we walked around the town. We drove from Seattle to Port Townsend the 4th of July weekend, the ferry was a 3 hour wait. Coming back to Seattle we took the ferry, it was wonderful and not a long wait at all.
