Overpriced
I paid $99 for ONE night while my friend paid $93 for the room next door on the same night.??? I feel ripped off! Definitely not worth $100! NO coffeemaker, NO toiletries, Not even a digital alarm clock. Not well maintained or cleaned. Found a bead (we had NO beads) in the bed the next morning!! GROSS!!! I would say the rooms are worth 1/2 what they charge. I should have stayed with the rest of our group a few miles down the road. I would have paid less, had a nicer room AND breakfast.

when my husband myself and my children went to the motel to try to rent a room for the night we saw that the owner was passed out drunk in the motel office or what you call his home his apartment door was open and we saw him laying down drunk he couldnt even open his eyes we got scared and told a older lady who we saw smoking a cigarette out of her room if their was anyone else there and she said no and we left , this should be a business not a bar.this is not the first time ive seen him like that .last time he had no shirt on and was in his underwear renting rooms out to people

Terrible place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/08
This hotel is very dirty and located right in a run down trailer park. Not a good place to stay for anyone. Bedding soiled, bathroom not cleaned and owners do not care if you complain. If you check-out early because you can't stand it they charge your credit card with the excuse that you booked for 2 nights and you will be charged for 2 nights!!!!!

Would NOT recommend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/2/08
Although very cheap, it is not worth staying at this hotel. It was not very clean, our toilet seat had obviously not been cleaned (but still had a the "sanitized strip" around it). The bed was old and creaky and the room not very comfortable. We will not be going back.

Itching to get out of HERE!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/07
An overnight trip to Bellis Fair turned into a nightmare when all the hotels were full in Bellingham and we gratefully checked into the Windmill Inn Motel in Lynden. Unfortunately after 30 minutes in the motel room we all felt suddenly very itchy. The rash subsided while we went to the mall, but returned when we stayed for the night. We escaped as early as possible..7 am...where we were greated by the nightstaff in their underwear when we tried to return the key. Yes, Pets are allowed but this can bring unwanted little tiny creepy crawly pests to keep you company at night!

Very Unsafe Environment!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/12/07
I did not realize that I was going to be staying in part of a trailer park when I made a reservation to stay. We did not even go into the room because it felt so unsafe, especially with small children. I would not recommend this motel unless you are planning on people living in broken down RV's next to your window.

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
After reading reviews I was under the impression this was a nice Dutch-style accomodation in a quaint little town. Instead it was a small cheap motel right next to a dealership, even equipped with a place right in the parking lot for what looked like run-down trailers that people lived in. I almost wanted to cry when I arrived. I would have much preferred a super 8 or motel 6 to this place. Rooms were basic, almost run-down in the way of furnishings. Acceptable, but very low value.

Will Be Stopping Here Every Trip
By ameliad, 10/17/06
Very nice economy motel located on a main highway to and from Canada. Great place to stop and rest up after coming from Prince George or Portland for those who migrate back and forth to Alaska. Shops, cafes, fast food, and restaurants close by. The original part of town has transformed itself into a trendy Dutch theme with plenty of cute shops. The motel accepts pets ! They will also save your room if you call them and tell them you may be late due to road conditions.
