Villa West Motel, Florence

There is a reason the sign in the lobby says absolutely no refunds once you pay. The motel is old, is very loud since it is on a busy road and has no air conditioning. It would be easy to open the windows, but it is right next to a Pet Center with very smelly outdoor kennels. Overall, it was an absolutely terrible experience and we would never return!

You can tell by the spelling that the good reviews are written by the live in mgr: also they have told people that they have to write good reviews because can only get bad ones. Said owners too stingy to fix it up or pay them to clean it up. They were in court for (ongoing) domestic abuse. Desrespectful to court & I would expect no less if I stayed in a hotel they managed.

It was noisy, people yelling on the street and big rigs rolling by most of the night. The female mgr was very nice and helpful. The blanket on the bed was holey and so pilled, it needed replaced years ago. It was clean overall but some mold on the baseboards in the bathroom. It could use a renovation as the location can't be beat. Just soundproof the rooms a bit more.

Had reservations two weeks prior to arrival. Arrived at 10:30pm after confirming with manager at 8:30pm. He came to front desk with no shirt on still zipping up his pants. Told me someone else had checked into my room with the EXACT SAME NAME. Yeah, right. He gave me a really scuzzy room with mold on the walls. The window was wide open when I arrived and it was freezing cold inside, hailing outsiede. I realized later that it was because the heat must've been stuck on. It was boiling hot in the middle of the night. Bad location also- it's right where major highway from Eugene meets 101, so all night long you hear the sound of big rigs winding up and winding down. LOUD LOCATION Checked out the next day and went elsewhere.

We were very dissappointed with the room. Two beds but no light or table by one bed. The carpet was dirty and the blanket on one bed was filthy. Will not be staying there again. The manager was very nice tho. They just need to do some housecleaning especially in the bathroom

We were looking for a low-cost place to stay for one night. Florence is only an hour's drive for us and we usually stay at the only beachfront hotel (the Driftwood Shores). The manager was polite, friendly and accommodating. The location is at the intersection of the two main roads in town, which gave a lot of traffic noise. The room was presentable and clean, but was in bad need of carpet replacement, as well as the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. But what it lacked in non-renovated status, it made up with an overall good energy.

this place is very clean and great locations for evrything. manager is on site for 24hr and they are very friendly. i do landscaping and they will give u a best rate in the town. this place is very very nice. they allway working hard for them self and keeping evrythig up-to date.

The owners, that live on site and run the motel on a daily term are wonderful people. The comfortable rooms made the visit worth while. My wife and I stayed there for 29 days and enjoyed it.
