Wonderful place to stay. I was only going to get a few hours and get back on the road but ended up sleeping through the night. I was just that comfortable here. I've stayed at enough of the cookie-cutter-carpeted-hallway-USA-today-at-the-door establishments to tell you that this is better than those. From now on I'm only seeking out the old MOTEL when I'm on the highway. Great job Sunset, you made me comfortable away from home and that's what it's all about.

Treasure!

Our sincerest thanks to Mike and Debbie. What a great little place! We will stop again if we are ever out that way, to say hi if nothing else! It was like finding a little treasure of the past, and being able to go back and relive a little piece of history. Great internet access, too.

A real find!

This is a really well kept mom and pop on the old route 66. Really surprising to find such large, clean rooms. It still has the original furniture as well as free high speed internet. Go figure! My husband really liked the park at your door feature, but my favorite was pets stay free. The motel is on the quiet end of town away from the huge truck stop. We were amazed by the number of cafes and restaurants in this little town. This is a much better choice than the hustle and bustle of Albuquerque for a quiet night's rest.

Will definitely stop again!

This is a great little motel with Route 66 history, still owned by the original family. Very spacious and very clean rooms with nostalgic feeling. Our room had a huge flat screen TV! Hard to find a real mom and pop anymore in such great shape, but this is a little beauty. There are plenty of restaurants in this town so there is no reason to put up with the noise and traffic of Albuquerque. Wonderful patio and beautiful native plants. There was plenty of room for our large vehicle, no problem with our dog either. She stayed for free! We will stop here again.
