Prairie Inn, Evanston

Very convenient with parking in front of door. Large spacious rooms and very clean. Large indoor hallway to ice and vending machines and continental breakfast. One level so no stairs to climb. Very well kept up and clean....

Pros: Dog friendly, large room, at door parking. unique inside door leading to lobby. Cons: I don't stay here as often as I would like to. Can't say enough about this Motel!

Location off the freeway was great as was the price. Very friendly staff but they could not get the wireless internet working. I am sure it is fixed now. Nice lobby and free coffee and danish in the morning. Walls reminded me of a dorm room but the nice thing is you could never hear through the concrete block. TV and bed set was very old but worked. Most important in a room is the cleanliness and ours was perfect. I plan on staying there each time I pass from Vegas to Colorado.

The Prairie Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very large; and I have never stayed in a motel that was so clean. I was very pleased. The gentleman working at the desk was helpful and very informative. I was very impressed with his professional service and happy smile. I would recommend the Prairie Inn to anyway needing lodging in the area. It is great!

The rooms was very clean. Nice big flat screen T.V.. Very quiet even though it is next to I-80. The only thing that we did not like was the shower head. Very low about 5ft 5 inch. My wife and I are tall people. Over all a great value. We would stay there again.

We've stayed at the P.I. at least four or five times with our frequent sojourns between Portland and Steamboat Springs. It looks like it was a previous elementary school with large rooms, large internal hallway but has ample parking right in front of each unit and is quite reasonably priced. There is very decent food for the weary road warrior just down the street at Don Pedro's, inexpensive WY gasoline right across the street and a nice city park right on the Bear River with a large turn around for large RV's or fifth wheelers only a half mile away from the P.I. and is conveniently located by the freeway entrance.
