Manor Motel, Milbank

I checked in on a Sunday for a 7 day stay at a cost of 245.00, not bad I thought until I got into the very small room, with very out dated & broken furniture and dirty restroom. The mattresses on the bed were very used and need to be replaced, the first night I killed over 25 flys. The room service was not to be see the 3 nights I stayed there. I found I had to leave in just 3 days, so I checked out on Wed morning and only got back $9.00 refunded, which was mailed to me because the manager was not there to talk to when I left that day. I never know exactly how long I'll be someplace and have never had a problem getting a refund on the nights I didn't stay. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed in and would have sleep in my truck had I know how I would be treated by these South Dakota people that run the Manor. Just down the street in a super 8 that has to be better. When I contacted the manager he refuesed to talk to me and hung up on me instead of being a bussiness man and trying to solve the issues I had.

We stayed over the Easter weekend. The new owner/operators have cleaned up all the rooms since they took over this winter. They were friendly and helpful. They have closed the pool due to the neglect of the former owners, but hope to get it up and running in the future. They even allowed our dog to stay, which is hard to come by.
