Great Inn with nice people.

Okay, first of all, let's clear up one thing. I have stayed all over the country, from the finest suites charging well over five thousand per night, to some of the tiniest dives that were twenty-nine dollars per night. I am what you call a hotel guru. The hotel makes the vacation, and I can honestly say that this little Inn is just fantastic. Pricing in the Lake Geneva area is outlandish at high times, and this place remains reasonable. The lobby and hallways are circa 1970's but clean, the room was clean as well, if not in need of some new wallpaper. The staff was excellent and very nice. The pool is that of a much higher end establishment , large, heated, and clean. The hours are great from 8-11, so if you want some time to swim solo, I promise you will have it. The whirlpool was taped off, but the pool was so comfortable that there wasn't a need to run over to warm up. The few little suggestions that I have are bring your own towels, while very clean, they do have those tiny motel towels, and bring your own toiletries, these are also motel grade.
As for all of those whiners who complained about their heart-shaped bed and blown speakers on the head-board mounted radio... YOU WILL NOT FIND A FOUR STAR HOTEL WITH THESE THINGS - THEY ARE PARTICULAR TO MOTELS!!! Taking your girlfriend to a romantic getaway with a heart-shaped bed that belts out music, should attest to your taste, rather than that of the Inn that your chose. I am all for tacky and cute, but I don't expect the Don Cesar or the Four Seasons to have themed rooms, just like you shouldn't expect champagne from a motel.
Great little inn for a 2-3 night stay, walking distance from downtown, great for younger couples with kids on a budget, or groups that want to see the night life of Lake Geneva without having to worry about driving back to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, clean if outdated rooms, GREAT POOL!
