Little Brown Inn Motel, Loudonville

Stayed in July 2008. Great Motel. Very clean and quite. Owner is very accommodating and friendly. Motel is extremely easy to find, it is right on the main road in Loudenville. The person that wrote the review entitled "Horrible" was not writing about this Motel. We plant to go back and stay again next year. Will recommend to friends.

My parents were heading to Loudonville Ohio over the Thanksgiving holiday to look at a log home they want to build. Loudonville is about a 3 hour drive from me so we decided to meet at the Little Brown Inn for Thanksgiving. I was skeptical about the name but don't let that fool you. This place is a gem. The rooms were so clean as well as spacious, and didn't smell like a typical motel. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets were very soft. When I made the reservation I let Lisa know of our Thanksgiving plans and she made sure that my parents and I had rooms next door to one another with a fridge and microwave in each room. Warming up turkey and sweet potatoes was a breeze. Another nice feature was that the room had a front door that lead to the inside corridor where you could find an ice and soda machine, and a back door that you could easily access your car from. The Little Brown Inn also provided a continental breakfast that satisfied all of us even my 10 and 5 year old boys. If we had to do Thanksgiving at the Little Brown Inn again we'd do it in a heart beat.

Horrible food for the price. Service in Restaurant terrible. Tucked back in the woods is correct. (Deliverance). Very hard to find. Nothing in the area to do. Everything is at least an hours drive away.

We have been camping in this area for many years. This year we were tent camping in the area when the storms from Katrina hit town. It rained for 2 days! We can usually weather the storms out. However, this year the storm got the best of us and we headed to town after securing our campsite. We went to the Little Brown Inn hoping they would have a vacancy! (we had stayed there once before many years ago). We checked in, soaked to the bone! We had a very nice, clean room with tv, microwave and small refrigerator. The beds and room were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and decided to stay and 'pamper' ourselves for an additional nite! (allowing camp to 'dry' out). It was great! The nearby resturants made our stay even better. Were able to take leftovers back and reheat later! The Inn sits back from the road enough that you don't hear the local traffic. There are chairs in front of the rooms so you can sit out if you like. Rooms were very cozy and clean and managment was very friendly and helpful. The rec room was nice and very homey. We plan on returning next year!

I like hotel's location, it is nice. The surroundings include go-cart car racing, miniature golf, horse ridding, boating, and more...

location and hospitality was great. Beautifully place to stay and have lot of activity near by. Need not need to drive much. mostly places are at walkable distance.
