We found everything neat and clean, the people were very friendly and helpfull.
We didnt have to worry about things being bothered while we were gone(like some Hotels).
I cant say enough Good things about the Hotel or its staff!!!!!!
Thank all of You for a wonderfull stay!
We have stayed at other places in Williamsburg and CREST IS BEST. Days Inn is dark, gloomy and not clean. Other two have no elevator and rooms are like going into a cave - a dark cave.
Crest is park at the door, best view in town, fine folks in charge who know clean and kindness. No fussy frills because their sensible rates support the basics we need to have to relax and rest. Even thier coffee is better than good
As owners, my wife and I want to address feedback from customers. If you have any problematic issues with our motel, please email us at ks1@gksgroup.com so we can address them directly. Our goal is for you to have a good night's rest and to be able to relax as if this were 'your home away from home'! We want you to have a memorable stay. Sincerely, Gary and Kandi Stake
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights recently and found the room to be clean and the staff friendly. I will most likely stay there again.

Love the location right by the outlet mall. Food places close by and love the view up on the "crest" of the hill. Enjoy my cigar in the gazebo (warm weather of course). Nice people own & run this place ! It is dated but good beds & baths and clean. Good value for the money !! You can find newer and nicer places and you will pay TWICE as much. We love it 3-4 times a year.
This motel accepted a telephone reservation guaranteed by a credit card but failed to honor the reservation. I made the reservation on Monday, was given a confirmation number but when I arrived late Thursday evening I was told they had "no reservation slip" and they had no rooms.
We as a family like the idea that this is a family-run hotel because they are so accomodating when you need anything. Our son likes it because they allow pets, I like it for the convenience of the outlet mall right across the street, my husband likes it for the reasonable rates they offer. It is an older motel, but my concern is more cleanliness than decorating, which I feel they do a great job on. The people who handle the front office will do anything & everything to be sure you have what you need. In particular, I would like to thank Linda for being so nice to my son with the incident where he lost his dog back home to a hit and run incident. She was so gentle to him that he said he felt as if she knew him for a long time.
I stay at this motel about 2 to 3 times per year because we go to the Amana Colonies a lot, and we always bring our dog. The rooms are always well cared for, and the people are friendly and helpful!
I stay here on a regular basis when travelling to the Amana colonies with my pets. The rooms are spacious but can be noisy if the hotel is busy as there are doors joining all of the rooms together from the inside (nice for large families). The non-smoking rooms are nicer decor wise than the smoking. But for me, a bed and shower is all I need. The facilities are old but work. The hotel itself is in bad need of remodeling - the sparkly orange/gold floors in the bathrooms tell it's age. This hotel gives the basics and the basics only. Coffee, ice maching and pop are available but not much else. The reception closes at 10pm and opens at 8am the next day. It is family run and don't be surprised to hear Oprah coming from the family room t.v. as you check in.
If all you are looking for is a place to rest the night and you don't intend spending too long hanging out at the hotel - this is the place to go.
The rates are very reasonable at about $45 for one person with the addition of $5 per animal in the room with you. Out front is a large green area for walking the dogs. There is a gas station on the corner and McDonald's and Arby's are close by for a quick meal. There is also a nice Chinese restaurant if you'd prefer something to sit down to.
Williamsburg outlet mall is directly across the street and in walking distance from the hotel, however, with all the bargins you'd be better off driving.
