Hasn't Gotten any better

After a previous experience a year or so ago, where i had multiple people walk in on a guest of mine in the room (right past the Do Not Disturb sign, but the fact that she was asleep nude probably was the motivation), i swore i would never stay here again. However, time dulls the memory of the disaster, so i tried again this week. The hotel is in bad need of a renovation, but i figured i would only be there for a couple of days. The afternoon of the first day (at 3:15 PM) i returned to the hotel with a guest to find that the room had not been touched, nor the shower fixed as i had asked that morning. There was not a maid on the floor, either.
Multiple trips to the front desk garnered reassurances that the room was being cleaned as we spoke. I went back up to the room to find no maid, and no service. I returned to the front desk to get another room, only to find that they didn't have another jacuzzi room. i returned to the room to find once again that the room was not being worked on, and at that point made reservations at a quite wonderful hampton a little further out and left the hotel.
Through the whole experience the management was incompetent, condescending and unable to communicate effectively with either their own employees or me.
