When we walked into our room it reeked of smoke. The desk clerk told us that is was a non-smoking room and someone must not hav e followed the rules. She moved us down the hall and the room smelled fresh, but there was an ashtray in the room. After a couple of hours, I started having breathing problems and had to take medication. Apparently she used a spray air cleaner to remove the smoke smell. We would have left at that point except that we were meeting our granddaughter and she was staying at the hotel with her track team. The internet was so slow I was wishing for my old dial-up. The television was ancient and the color was going out The number of tv channels was very limited. The carpet and upholstered furniture were in dire need of cleaning. We will never stay here again! .

WE ALL ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WE COME DOWN EVERY YEAR FOR THE MEMPHIS IN MAY, AND AS ALWAYS WE HAVE A PLEASENT VISIT. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE SERVICE CAME FROM VERY NICE PEOPLE. This hotel is located just off I-40 in east Memphis and is a good value for the price. The rooms are comfortable, clean and adequate. The continental brekfast consists of (cook your own)waffles, cereal, oatmeal,toast and pasteries.

We stayed at this hotel from 9th September 07 thu 21st September 07. We had a fantastic time. The hotel itself was very clean inside and out. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant always smiling. Breakfast was ample with lots to choose from. The pool was clean and comfortable loungers were available.It is a bit out of town but it was worth it. If we ever come back to visit Memphis wich i hope we will soon i would certainly stay at this hotel again 10 out of 10 especially for the girls on reception. Thanks for making our stay so mormorable. We were able to sleep because there was no noise which has been a problem with previous trips. The workout room was nice, cool and clean. Only thing we didn't care for, our rate was 11 dollars higher because we didn't confirm it by phone, and we didn't know we had to do this.

Staying at the Baymont was pleasant and better than expected. The room was large, king size bed was great, very clean! The staff were friendly and helpful and there wasn't one bad thing I could think of to say about our stay. It was a bit farther from downtown than we would have liked to be, but that was just due to several major events being booked. The pool wasn't open yet, but it was before Memorial Day so I'm assuming they just don't open that early. It was a good value for the money and I would definitely recommend it.

Most everything was in good working order. The cable didn't come in well on our tv, but it wasn't enough of a problem to complain about. Great breakfast, very family friendly. Super nice staff.

This place was a disaster. The room was filled with ants everywhere! The second night we stayed the plumbing stopped working. Upon returning home with small bites all over my body my Dr. advised me I had acquired bed bugs!
