Friendly and next to everything
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/11
My daughter and I just got back from visiting her god father who is station @ ft.campbell and this was a great place to stay. We were literally across the street from the base, and the office staff was very friendly. Located to a ton of eating places along the way to get there and minutes away from wal-mart. Only down fall not enough towls and wash clothes and I wasnt overly impressed with the shower head in our room, but all in all I would stay there again for the price. Had a great vacation thanks to the office staff :)

Got more than paid for, compared to similar.
By Autumn, 11/25/09
We stayed here multiple times while waiting for housing. The rooms were always clean, sometimes there was a musty odor, like an old air conditioner. But, I didn't feel like I needed to wear a HazMat suit to sleep. It wasn't like staying at the Ritz, but it gets 4 stars compared to the other places we stayed in this price range. At one place, we paid more and it only had electricity in half the room, when we complained, the guy at the front desk went through the room BAREFOOT and then yelled at us like we did it; moved us to a well-lit room and it looked like a microwave burrito exploded in the "kitchen" area. Another place had some interesting features too, there was a drunk guy trying to win his girlfriend back all night long by screaming/slurring into a cell phone right outside our door. All in all, you can't beat it for the price. We paid considerably more and got the same or less everywhere else we went. It helped, also that a lot of cheap, but decent, food joints were in walking distance. Going back there in a few days. They remembered me when I booked the room, and its nice to feel important like that, even if its total strangers.

Won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/20/09
My first thought was that one could not beat this motel for the price. And to be honest, that is true. For $50 (compared to $115 at another place) I thought I could live without the coffeepot, which was nowhere to be seen. There seemed to be a rationing of towels, as there was only 1 large towel and one small towel for 2 people. There was no shampoo, and very small soaps. There was no ice. But the room seemed clean. And the people in the office seemed nice. The bed was ok, but not really as firm as I would like. The motel is very close to the army base, which was good. But what was great about this motel besides the price was that every room has a small fridge, stove, and microwave. And a sink for washing dishes. And when checking in, I did notice someone was getting an iron from the office to use in their room. So perhaps if we had asked for a coffeepot, we would have gotten one. Who knows. So I was thinking...I would stay here again, for $50. But what really turned me off was the pool with large bugs and long hair floating in it. It was a Saturday. And a busy week during the summer. I could not believe the pool had not been skimmed. I wanted one of those nets to skim it myself! I think that was the deal breaker for me. So I will probably pay the $115 next time. The only other thing that I would mention is not really the fault of the hotel. Someone knocked on our door about 10:30 pm, and of course, I did not answer it. I looked out but could not see anyone. These doors open to the outdoors. Then again at 1 am someone knocked again. Not sure if someone was drunk, needing help, or playing tricks. But it gave me bad vibes. Anyway, it is good if you need a low priced hotel, especially if you want to be able to cook your own food. But don't answer the door if someone knocks late at night...

Will return in a couple weeks
I've only been here twice, but I love this quaint little place. The staff are super sweet and the prices are low. Also ladies it is right across from base. I stay here when I am visiting friends at fort campbell. It is within walking distance of several fast food places. In the summer they have a little pool but it's outside so in the winter it closes. I plan to return in a couple of weeks, and will return often while my friends are stationed there.

By renee b, 11/9/08
My family and I stayed there while waiting for my son to come in from Iraq and while we were there they were very good to us and very kind as well....We stayed for like a week and we had no complaints about the place...The rooms were clean and the owners were very nice..If we needed anything they were there to give it to us and if I had to stay there again I would..

Great Stay
By Melissa, 3/14/08
We stayed at this hotel for a week before my husband deployed and we loved our stay there. It is very close to base and there are restaurants close enough to walk to. We are getting ready to go back down for a couple of days and we are going to stay there again.

Fantastic Place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/29/07
Winners Circle is a fantastic Motel. Amazingly clean, service was fantastic, and it was refreshingly quiet since it was slightly away from the interstate. The bed was comfortable and we were well taken care of. We love the place and will stay there again when we travel through the area. Highly recommend this motel to everyone. Price was great too.

Won't stay here again
By Aunt_tea04, 9/22/06
Someone celebrated a soldier's homecoming a little too much in the room they first put us in. It smelled nasty of urine and vomit. The next room they put us in was very musty smelling. Also, we couldn't seem to get more then 2 towels/washcloths in spite of the fact that we had 3 people registered to our room. Our air conditioning did not work and we had very large bugs in the room. After staying the first night, our room was not cleaned during the next day. They said we had the only key to the room and they couldn't get in to clean. Because of all the soldiers coming home, all the other motels were full so we had no choice but to stay there unless we wanted to be several miles from post, which we did not wish to do. We did see several people check out earlier then they had planned to because of the disappointing conditions. Next time we go to Fort Campbell, we will not be staying here.

comforts of home, away from home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/26/06
The honeysuckles smelled great & lightning bugs were awesome! Close proximity to Ft Campbell, which is why we were there. If we ever happen to be in the area again, our first choice of lodging will be the Winner's Circle, hands down. Affordable lodging for home comforts.
