Will not go back!
By Garrett, 4/23/09
We read all of these great reviews on travel yahoo so we decided to stay at the omni hotel. we were not as impressed as everyone else. we spent $225 for a wednesday night. the hotel is beautiful but everything else was horrible. the two beds were full size beds. there was no microwave or fridge in the room. no pop machines on site and all stores within walking distance close early in evening so couldn't walk to get a bottle water. hotel charges $6 for a bottle of water. there is valet parking however it is required and there is a $25 charge. no swimming pool. there are like 15 tv channels to choose from. i just think that if i paid $225 for a night i should recieve far more than this. the previous night i paid $97 for a room at the holiday inn express and liked it so much more for less than half the price. i would not recommend this hotel whatsoever.

Quaint Elegance
By SPODOD, 2/19/07
The rooms were spacious, clean, and newly decorated. The staff were outstanding, providing prompt and courteous service. The king bed was perfect and difficult to roll out of in the morning. Finally, the hotel is situated in the middle of numerous outstanding restaurants and sporting venues. If you're looking for over-the-top luxury, try the Hyatt. But for a great weekend that won't injure your conscience or pocket-book, the Omni Majestic is the perfect place. See you again next year.

Best Hotel In St. Louis!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/20/06
From the moment we made our reservation, the staff went above and beyond for us. They offered to shuttle us anywhere we needed to go and pick us up. They gave us perfect directions everywhere we needed. They were always smiling (never a fake smile)and the morning breakfast was spectacular! The omelets they cooked us for breakfast were the best my husband and I have had in a long time! This hotel is perfect for everyone!

I live in St. Louis and if I ever need a reprive from daily life...this is my sanctuary! I LOVE IT!! It is the BEST hotel in St. Louis!! The parking is nice (and free), the lobby is GORGEOUS, the history is intriguing, the rooms are BEAUTIFUL, the staff is THE best and the beds...THE BEDS ARE HEAVENLY!!!! I would recommend this to anyone...even if you are from St. Louis. It is well worth the money!!

Great location for downtown
By Kim Earney, 6/8/05
Loved it, very positive experience. Received excellent rate through Hotwire.com (of course, I didn't know the hotel name at the time). Expected to get the worst room because of the cheap rate - received an excellent room. Very spacious, comfy bed. Great downtown location, can walk almost anywhere from the hotel. Staff was the nicest I've seen in a long time, parking could be better (only offer valet and most of the time I had to go get the car myself, which was okay because I didn't have to tip). Great breakfast buffet (might only be offered on weekends, not sure about weekdays). Beautiful and small, quaint - I guess it's considered a boutique hotel. Will stay again if I can get as good a deal on the rates.

Historical and Beautiful
By sharmermaid, 5/22/05
Had a seminar to attend in St Louis and decided to stay at this hotel. Beautifully elegant with a touch of class to it. It is a historical hotel downtown and easily accessible to Union Station and several of the main attractions. The rooms were big with huge down comforters and pillows. Very pleasing to the eyes and clean. The staff were friendly and accomidating to our needs. There were two problems we had with this hotel. One was the noise at night. Apparently a parking lot adjacent to the hotel is where some of the young adults hang out and play music loudly all hours of the night and the second problem was the parking costs. I have never stayed at a hotel that I had to pay to park. No pool but has a beautiful all wood antique bar.

Our new favorite hotel!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/7/05
My fiance and I and another couple stayed at the Omni this weekend and we loved it! The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We went to see a show, and the hotel offered to drop us off and pick us up. I'd heard that their beds were the most comfortable in any hotel, and now I believe it. Their Continental breakfast, which comes with the room, is elaborate and delicious. The Omni is now our hotel of choice. We plan on staying there whenever possible.

Wonderful Staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/04
What a beautiful hotel! My room was amazing - I felt like I was in Europe and the staff was wonderful. The concierge even offered to drive me to the nearest mall! I could not have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful historic hotel
By sharmermaid, 9/15/04
We had a beautifully decorated, spacious double room in this historic hotel. Down comforters, down pillows and a pillow top bed added to our comfort.
The staff were wonderful. They were pleasant, helpful and project positive customer care attitudes. They love their jobs and it shows in their actions.
The hotel was built in 1914 and still has the original, pristine, detailed woodwork in the lobby, restaurant and bar. The brass fixtures add to the elegance.
