DO NOT STAY HERE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/06
Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had with a hotel. The desk staff was wonderful! BUT, the management of the hotel was horrible. We stayed in the King Suite that was supposed to be non-smoking. Upon arriving, the room was filled with ashes all over the carpet! The air had not been turned on in the room for us, so it was horribly stuffy. The furniture in the "suite" was the quality one would find at a garage sale (dirty, torn, stained). We found a roach the size of my index finger; we had to request a clock; the pool had dirt in the bottom of it during our stay, and the hot tub was the same temp as the pool. Breakfast was not available, the ONE ice machine in the hotel never worked; we had to request sheets, pillows, and blankets, and then make our own bed (the linens were just laid on the couch while we were out); the water in the shower would go from EXTREMELY hot (scorching) to EXTREMELY cold for no reason; and ON, AND ON, AND ON. We took our concerns about our room to the manager and explained that this was NOT worth $100/night, and the manager said there was nothing she could do for us. We were furious! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Will never go here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/06
This was the worst weekend we have ever had in a hotel. We had a suite which did not have any soaps, lotions, etc, no coffee and condiments for coffee maker. The bed looked as if someone had been laying on it and it was hard as a rock. We put 3 mattress covers and three blankets on the bed, under the sheets, and it made no difference whatso ever. We, along with several friends were there for a national bowling tournament and everyone had some kind of problem. One room did not have a telephone and did not have clean linen on the bed and only 1 towel in the room. Another couples' key would not work in their door and they were told by the manager to "leave it propped open". An elderly couple was given a key to their room and when they opened the door it was a room be renovated. There was no furniture, walls, carpet or anything. They advertise a complimentary deluxe cook to order breakfast which they did not have, then they were suppose to have coffee and doughnuts, which they did not have the first day. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms were terrible and Billing atrocious.
By CHARLES H, 02/24/06
Rm 105 had no heat, Paid cash $134.82 and charges were also deducted from my credit card too. 3 weeks later, I'm still having trouble getting my money back on my credit card. Not cooerative at all. WILL NOT BE BACK, NOR ANY OF MY PERSONNEL FROM FORT SILL, OK.

Run Down And Dirty
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/05
The staff are rude and act like they are mad at the world. This "USED" to be a nice place to stay but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone now. Looks like it was purchased as an investment and ownership has decided to see how much they can make without spending any money! It appears they have accomplished this.

not worth the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/16/05
This place was first of all infested with roaches. We were put in 3 rooms. One of which the AC didn't work, the other had no lightbulbs, yes I said no lightbulbs. When we questioned the clerk, he said there were none. The 3rd room was infested with bugs. We were moved on 3 different occassions to new rooms. On 2 of those occassions the rooms were already occupied by others. The beds in each room did not fit the frame. The beds kept flipping off onto the floor. We asked for extra pillows and were told that housekeeping was gone and they had no key to the closet. Yeah right. They advertise breakfast. You had the choice of cereal, bagels or stale donuts. Where we come from breakfast is bacon and eggs or biscuits and gravy. When we went to check out the clerk was very rude. She insinuated that we were trying to skip out on the bill because the credit card only approved two rooms and we had three. We were not disuting the fact that we owed for the 3rd room however, the clerk made the assumption that we were. We simply asked to see the charge sheet for the rooms that we thought had gone thru the night that we checked in. She got very hateful and sarcastic that we were asking for justification of the charges. We explained, excuse me tried to explain all of the problems she did not want to hear them; until we mentioned that we were going to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Health Dept about the bug infestation. Then she was all ears. She told me that we needed to talk to the manager, but conveniently the manager was not there. She made an excuse for every thing that we brought to her attention. She blamed it all on the new owners and the renovation going on. Customers should not have to sacrafice on customer service because there is a "remodel" going on. Our overall experience was one of disgust and frustration. We were at this facility on 6/14/05 and checked out 6/15/05.

Embarrassing
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/05
This hotel is now (again) under new ownership and it has gone downhill fast over the past 12 months. The furnishings are in desperate need of renewal. Mattresses are old and worn as are the linens. The carpeting is stained and the overall impression is that upkeep of property is a minor priority. During our 1 week stay the air conditioning failed completly in the main hotel block and little was done to assist the guests in making them more comfortable. Temperatures had soared to 95 degrees during the day and it was unbearable to be in the room at all. Strangely enough the hallways and atrium remained cool!! The breakfast was the same each day. Scrambled eggs and link sausages withh 3 cereal options, bagels, toast and danish. At this time the liquor license had not been transferred so that the happy hour was no longer available. No apology for the problems or inconvenience but was granted a weekly rate of $250 + taxes for our stay. Possibly the worst stay I have had in any hotel ever and I spend over 200 nights per annum in hotels.

Not so great.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/05
Of the 3 days we were there, we saw the maid service once and that was when she walked in while were watching tv. I had to go get my own clean towels. The breakfast was absolutely awful. Just not a great experience overall.

Fifth Season Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/04
This is an older hotel, but it is very nice.
The staff was very friendly. The atrium was beautiful. They had a good breakfast bar.
