Days Inn Quincy, Quincy

Was traveling through Quincy and decided to stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Had a great time at the pool. Will return in the future.

Arrived tired, received a very friendly welcome. Good value, clean, great staff and a nice breakfast. We will stay again when we're in town!

At 18:32 hrs. my wife and I checked in to the hotel, we then left to meet some friends, when we returned roughly around 8:30 oclock we recieved a courtsy call asking about the service. At this point everything seemed fine,we ordered a pizza and while waiting for it I decided that I would take a quick shower. As soon as the hot water hit the shower all I could smell was urine! Needless to say I was pissed and actually debated on leaving your hotel at this point. After talking with my wife we decided to stay but do without the shower. After doing some work on my laptop we then got ready to retire for the night seeing as how we needed to be up by 5 the following morning. We pulled the sheet and blankets back and we got into the bed. After a couple of minutes I notice quite the stain on the dark green blanket. We go on to find alot of white/yellowish stains. It looked like dried snot or semen!!!! This was the last straw, we called down to the front desk and told the lady on duty that we were leaving and that we wanted our money back, she told us that she would not give us our money back and then suggest that my wife was having an affair!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I was really pissed off! I demanded my money to no avail so we left and came home. What was meant to be a nice quite night without the kids turned into a nightmare. I was smart enough however to take photos of the dark green blanket.

Walking into the foyer to get your room key is like walking into a swamp. There is supposed to be a little fountain in the middle of the room, but it is covered with Alge and has not been cleaned. Don't let your kids near that or they will get sick. The carpeting has never been replaced, so it stinks in the place. It is run down, you will see the walls are nasty and filthy, and stained with cigarette residue. Grounds had trash and cigarette butts all over the place. There was no grass or upkeep, to even want you to consider staying there. There were holes in the walls of the rooms, and some of them smelled like Urine, as they had not been cleaned. There was also hair in the bed on the sheets, as they had not been cleaned. The doors were very difficult to get open, and the toliet in my bathroom did not work very well. Just being in the room will make you question whether or not they cleaned the towels. I was embarrased to schedule people to stay at this place. I will never stay here again, and I will tell everyone that I can to stay away from this place.

I accidentally booked an online reservation for the wrong day. when i tried to change it i was told i couldn't and would be charged the full amt. even if i didn't show up. I spoke with the highest person i could at 1800 days inn. he kept repeating the policy over and over again and did nothing to fix my issue. The inn itself was more help then the cusomer service dpt. I will never stay at another days inn again.

This is the most filth hotel in the world that I'v stayed at! This is what happened when we got into our room it was dirty. The beds wern't had,the trash cans had trash in them,we had dirty towels everywhere like one on the bed, one behide the door that was stiff as a board. The chairs were stained. The stairway down to the ground had beer bottles,and broken glass everywhere.I was sared that my child would get hurt. to top it off the guy next door to us always was outside trying to look in our room. I was scared to even sleep at night.

Words like; filthy, dirty, disgusting, unclean, stained, noisy and smelly don't even begin to describe what I experienced at Days Inn in Quincy Illinois. The Quincy Illinois Health Department should shut this place down.

The funiture was stained, the room appear half cleaned, cleaning material was left in the room, the walls were stained, the bedding material looked like hand me downs. I will not stay in this hotel again

This was literally the most disgusting motel experience I have ever had. Our room was dirty, the air conditioner smelled like urine & there was a cigarette burn in the curtains. To top it off, there was garbage outside our door & men flipping cigarette butts onto our car from the 3rd floor balcony.

I have stayed here before. The last time I was here (over a year ago, there were definitely some improvements to be made). However, I decided to give it a second chance as I saw the hotel was under new management. All I can say is WOW! The staff was so friendly, the breakfast was great- rooms were a million times better than my last stay. They should be congratulated on a job well done. For those others who have previously written negative comments regarding this hotel, I urge you to give it a second chance. Glad I did.
