Colony Motel, Brookfield

I had the occassion to work in the Chicago area for 6 weeks. I chose the Colony Motel for it's central location in Cook Co for my work. It's a family owned and opperated business. They are very warm and accomodating. Clean and modern rooms. Very happy with my stay.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this motel. We were getting a night away from the kids and wanted to go someplace inexpensive to "get busy" and we decided to give this place a try. It was clean (at least it looked that way and didn't smell) and we didn't hear any of the neighbors next door. It cost us $35 for 2 hours and the room they placed us in had mirrors all around the bed and a porn channel (if you are into that kind of thing). We would consider staying in this motel even if it wasn't just to have sex.‎

We have stayed here 2 times in the past 6 monthes and will be staying again next week. Room nexts to are had kids but didn't hear a thing, mom said they were crying half the night never heard them. Beds were good

Its not that bad of a motel,they have wifi,cabel tv,in room frige and if your staying for a week you can request a microwave. They have been doing lots of remodling this summer as well, new beds ,new frigs,and 27 inch tvs in all the rooms. It is close to the metra (train station)as well about a 15 min walk to the brookfield train station. The worst thing about it is they are very busy on the weekends because they do rent rooms by the hour and have limited parking.

It wasn't bad. Its better than some motels back in Vegas!!! Its not like there were roaches crawling every where. Just bring your own towel!!!! :)

One room stank of cigarette smoke, and the next time we stayed there, the mattress was these weird coils that made more noise than you can imagine. Not a place I'd stay again after those two experiences.
