Some good, some not so good

We stayed at this hotel as part of a golf package. The rooms have been updated. The decor is attractive and the beds are great. The front desk personnel are friendly, the breakfast is a nice continental with extras, and the afternoon cocktails are an especially welcoming touch.
But - there were several things that showed a lack of attention to detail: we had trouble getting the sales team to call us back with information on tee times, the directions to the golf courses were confusing (ex. referencing a turn on "Airport Rd" when it is marked Hwy 475), and the in-room book says that waffles, eggs and sausage are part of breakfast - obviously not updated since they made the change to their very nice continental breakfast.
But none of this is a big deal.... what was a big deal to us was the cleanliness. The little shampoo bottle in our room was half full (maybe used by a previous guest? Yuck!) There was a long black hair stuck to the back of the bathroom door. The atrium area where breakfast and cocktails are served is just filthy. Everything had a thick layer of dust of it, the trees, the table tops, the short wall around the fireplace. Someone had written "dust me" in the thick dust on one of the lower chair stretchers - and it was there for several days until we saw another guest point it out to housekeeping.
While there is much about this hotel that is positive, we would not return (and would not recommend it to others) unless we were sure it had undergone a thorough cleaning.
