Days Inn, St George

The staff was very nice, bed was OK and the water was hot. Everything I needed for a short night's sleep before moving on. Decent price also. There's several places near by to eat including a bar, Skynyrds, located just down the road.

My friend and I decided to stay in this motel as a half way point to our destination. My friend booked the room over the phone and was told that the pool was indeed open(the point of staying there),when in fact after we checked in we were told the pool had been closed since labor day. Our room was not all that great either, luke warm water,phone didn't work nor did the alarm clock, only one outlet worked besides the one the tv was plugged into,and the hair dryer fell off the wall. The wifi was ridiculous. The only good experience we had there was the Huddle house next door, food was great,folks were friendly. We will never use this Days Inn again. The old saying goes"You get what you pay for and if you can afford more than go elsewhere.

My room was in the section that was right next to I-95 and sleeping was hard to do. The price was only $44 so if you are a sound sleeper the price is right.

The description here is wrong, because there was no indoor pool at this motel (I wish there had been). Where do I start? The wifi was UNBELIEVABLY SLOW (Remember dial-up in the evenings when everyone was online? Cut the speed in half.), the ice machine was broken, shower water was lukewarm, no iron/ironing board, the hair dryer died, air conditioning was VERY noisy, the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall, there was a huge crack in the ceiling, the room was small, the CBS tv channel had picture but no sound, and (last but not least) I listened to loud trains all night long through paper thin walls. If this room only cost $20 night, I might recommend it....but at $45 night, it could be termed highway robbery. Go elsewhere.
