Waikiki Village Motel, Myrtle Beach

We have been staying here for the past 4 years. We love this place. We have been visitors at Myrtle Beach for about 30 years and until we found this place we were not happy. At the big hotels there no one knows who you are as a person just a room number. At Waikiki everyone knows you by name. Nancy and the staff are AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And by far it is much cleaner than the big resorts. We stayed at the Crown Reef and it is MUCH cleaner and nicer that there. Our family love it there it is the BEST OF THE BEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Waikiki Village is my favorite place to stay when I go to the beach. They are so nice and welcoming! You can walk out on your porch and see the ocean. It's great!

friendly and clean, circa sixties but really a great place with ocean across the street. for the money it can't be beat. also picnic area in rear of building with grills to cookout

just a nice little quiet place owned by grreat people. They even joined us for dinner one night poolside. (cooked on the free gas grills)

It was a great motel to stay the owner (Nancy) is a hands on person working to keep a great place in Myrtle Beach to stay. Rooms are clean and it is very quiet at night and in the day also. I did an interenet search on cheap motels. I read the information which was very little about this place. They do not give theirselves enough credit on how nice. I do agree there is no images but I gave them a call to see if there was vacancy. The attendant I spoke with was very nice. He asked what dates would we be coming. I told them tonight but it will be in about 5 hours. He said he would hold the room for me and asked if I had a cell so I could call and confirm my visit at 8 pm. I asked about the price. For 6 people he said 75 dollars plus tax. It was pretty much set. I told the attendant I had no credit card would he take cash. He responded YES. My idea of staying at the beach isn't really a biggie on where we stay, because most of my time is going to be spent outdoors. I continued looking on the net for better deals. But none were found. I called the attendant at 8, and told him that we still had 100 miles to drive. He said that would be fine we will hold the room for you. When we arrived check in took about 10 min. Seeing the room I was suprised for the deal. We had 2 full size beds and another room with a kitchenet, a sleeper sofa, tv's in each room with cable, Excellent A/C. It was also nice. Check in for us was late and we were only staying for the night. Check out is at 11 but we checked out at 9am. We asked the attendant if we could keep our vehicle parked for the day and if we could still have access to the pool. He replied YES. This motel is located in great convienence to a nice pizzaria lounge and several local cafes and resturants in walking distance. They are also located to The Family Kingdom, a waterpark and several shopping centers in walking distance. I enjoyed my stay and we'll be returning the end of August.

all of the reviews of this place sound like they were written by the same person. It may be a fine motel but I can't even find a picture of it on the internet.

For the past 25 yrs my family has always stayed there. We have always had a great time there with alot of memories there with all the kids. Our family & friends at least 15 or so of us have always stayed there each yr. at the same time so it's a great, affordable place to stay & to take your family. We look forward to staying there each yr. not only for the rates but for the cleanliness & the great staff there that we've all seemed to become very close to over the yrs.

the pool spa putt putt golf being right across from the ocean. rooms were clean every day staff was nice.though even though it is not big name hotel it seems like a big named hotel

I love the location, weather, smell, pool, palm trees, flowers, etc. I also love the service. It is clean and the maids are in there every day. And they are really nice.
