Waikiki Village Motel, Myrtle Beach

My husband and I were looking for an place to spend our 2nd Anniversary (on a budget). I came across Waikki Village on Yahoo Travel, it had excellent reviews and was in our price range. We weren't too sure about what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised! This little gem was perfect for us. The staff was so incredibly nice and generous. Our room was spotless (yes, a little out of date) but cleaner than any Hilton I have ever stayed at. The AC worked wonderfully and the pool and hot tub were incredtbly relaxing. Located just across the street from public access to the beach, it was a very, very short walk to the ocean. The other guests were also very friendly. It was all couples and families. Very quiet with no teenagers and drunken college kids. The price was great to. We will be back next year! Thanks again!

We loved it! The staff was great and very friendly they make sure you have everything you need. The rooms were nice and clean. The pool area was clean. And great rates! We will return!

This place was great! Its an older hotel, but very nice. It had an awesome swimming pool, and hot tub. It was clean, and was so close to the beach, I couldn't believe that we got such a great value. June 2007 was our first vacation at Myrtle Beach, and we are planning to go back next year... and we will definitely be staying at Waikiki village again. You didn't have to have a credit card to make reservations, we sent a check that secured our room. You literally walk out of the door, across the road, and you are at the beach!!! Easy, clean, affordable! The only complaint was it didn't have internet.

Fantastic. The staff is friendly and courteous. They treated us like family,we will not stay anywhere else in MB ever again. I am not sure one could ever have a better experience than my family did. A thousand thanks to owner's and staff. We will look forward to seeing you again soon.

It's old, dirty and disgusting, falling apart and built in the 50's unfortunately, guess it would not be too bad if you are used to staying in a dump. Ick.

I stayed at the hotel as part of a company working during bikers week on Memorial Day weekend.My company rented the entire hotel. I didn't expect much on the drive to the hotel. What a great surprise!!! Not only was the room clean,but we had a kitchenette completely stocked with plates,cups,silverware,and pots & pans. The shower had great water pressure. The owners of the hotel hired security to make sure that non-guests didn't park or walk on the hotel property.The property was so clean I couldn't even find a stray cigarette butt. I will be back with my family in the future. Canton, GA

My family and I have been staying here for about 12 years. We love to call this Our Home Away From Home!!! Nancy, Harry and the rest are great, friendly,sincere people who really care how your visit has been. My kids have grown up there basically. We don't live that far away and are forunate to visit often. We are lucky.

It was a graet hotel. It was fun. It had lots of things to do and it was close to where i needed to go.

my daughter and i were looking for a place to stay for a weekend getaway...we called the day before our arrival, and the gentleman (Charles) was very courteous and welcoming...our room was very clean, and had a full size fridge and microwave...we enjoyed the balcony and palm tree that added privacy...our view was nice as we could see a glimpse of the beautiful ocean...the heated pool was great, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi as well...i would recommend this motel...it was peaceful, and the other guests were courteous...we felt very welcome by all the staff...we even stayed for an additional night, and they were accomodating..i can't wait to go back!

Love the place, friendly people,great service (can't do enough for you!) clean, comfortable rooms, great location. Have spent the past 3 winters there (we are from Canada), and would not stay anywhere else. Spent one winter at another location - but it does not compare at all to Waikiki Village! Owner, desk clerks, maintenance and cleaning staff treat you just like family. Would recommend Waikiki Village to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable place to spend a vacation! the reids from Hamilton, Ontario Canada
