Waikiki Village Motel, Myrtle Beach

We had 12 trips to the Waikiki Village in the past 14 yrs. It is a great family motel. We like that is small enough that we can walk up the stairs to our room, not spend forever waiting for an elevator. It has a nice pool that is well maintained, a baby pool and a nice size hot tub. Our boys loved the baby pool when they were small. You can always get a chair around the pool. We have had several vacations over the years and this is our family favorite. The Waikiki is close to everything and within walking distance of most. A short walk across the road brings you to the beach. We have stayed at a bigger hotel with 14 pools but didn;t enjoy it. And to be honest, we never found all the pools. Accomadations are comfortable and clean. We are counting down the days till August already!

We have been staying at the Waikiki Village Motel for 25 years. It has become a second home for us, and the many snowbirds who return each year are like a large family group. It is a family-owned and operated motel. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner/operator is very helpful and goes the extra mile to make sure that your stay in Myrtle Beach is a pleasure.

June 7, 1975 was the first night I spent at the Waikiki Village. I was on my honeymoon with my late wife. We spent a wonderful week there...many wonderful memories.

Like an old folks home, customers will pass away. Intolerance . nuf said put your money elsewhere.

The staff was very nice and friendly; the hotel was clean, and the location and price were great! I could park my car next to my room, and my children and I did not have to walk very far to get to the beach. The hotel is also close to a grocery store and other stores and restaurants.

This place has been a mainstay for my family and I since before I was born. I was all of three months old my very first time there. I am now a father of one, expecting a second and we are all going there again this year for our family vacation. There are plenty of ammenities within walking distance including good restaurants and local bars, shopping, and beach access is directly across the street for those that love the ocean. If your the avid golfer, there are literally dozens upon dozens of great courses to play all within a twenty minute drive. You will never find a better place for the value and once you get to know the owners, you will never want to stay anywhere else while you are visiting Myrtle Beach, especially if you're a Canadian.

I've stayd at Waikiki Village about 4 or 5 time and it has always been an enjoyable experience. My mom is the one who told me about it, she loves it as well. Funny, but I hav gotten the same room most of the time so it feels like a home away from home and my children feel safe there. The staff are the nicest I've met at Myrtle, love them dearly. Well where do I start? The friendly enviroment was "out of this world" graet. It's right next to the beach so you can enjoy the sun, get a tan or swim. I've been coming to this place since i was 4. The place feels like i'm at home except for the jacuzzi. It's so relaxing, that is what makes a vacation....a vacation.

We were looking for somewhere to stay that's close to fishing, the beach, had a nice pool, & in walking distance to the amusement park. We were tight on money so we found this online & read like 30 great reviews so we called & couldn't believe the price!!!!!!!! Google earthed it & said no way, its to close to everything & the pool was huge, could see it perfectly!!! Too good to be true, its not, it's cheap, clean, cozy & near everything!!!! We loved it!!! I love "mom & pop" effect, they do reservations the old school way, so if you have to cancel, there are no refund issues!!!!!!!!!!!! Love this place, it's become our annual anniversary trip!!!!! Its old, it has issues, but very small ones & it's age gives it most of it's charm.
