The Days Inn Southside Savannah is located 15 miles from the Savannah International Airport, in the city's busy Southside. Each morning, guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel also offers an outdoor swimming pool, a business center with dataport phones, free local calls, and complimentary parking. The hotel is located in the busy Southside, adjacent to St. Joseph's Hospital and half a mile from Armstrong Atlantic State University. This location is one mile from Savannah Mall, four miles from Oglethorpe Mall, and within walking distance of several restaurants. The famous Historic District is eight miles from the hotel, about 15 minutes using the Southwest Bypass. All guest rooms offer one king-size or two double beds and a full range of modern amenities, including cable television, coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, hairdryer, and desk. What an awful odor!!!!!

I was very disappointed with this room. The smell was awful, the bathroom needed cleaning and updated. I had to buy a shower rug to stand on. I could not bear standing on that shower floor!
 
 
 
 
 
Please consider some other place to stay, very poor customer service and faulty amenities

Staff and management will not respect your business and will provide countless excuses for their poor service. No accountability. However, the internet connection was helpful.
 
 
 
 
 
not a great place to stay

yeah for the money it was not bad and the breakfast was ok. let me start off by saying never go by what they put online, cause they said it has a pool.lol first of all the pool was maybe 2 or 3 feet deep it was a over sized bath tub not a pool. the room did not smell all that great and the bathroom needs so replacing of a few things,tub,floors.... please choose another place if you come to savannah. i use to live here for 30 yrs and was on vacation to see family and this use to be a nice place to stay.
 
 
 
 
 
Great place to stay!

I was very impressed with this Days Inn. We stayed for two nights. Check in was smooth and easy, the front desk person was very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and even smelled like it had just been cleaned. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows. Towels were thick and comfortable. We enjoyed the large TV and there are plenty of channels to choose from. We also utilized the Microfridge in the room and the microwave. The Continental Breakfast was good and it was nice to get a USA Today, even though I don't normally read that particular newspaper. All in all, this is a very nice hotel with lots of comfort and amenities for a very reasonable price. The only disappointment we had was with the swimming pool, which was very small. I would definitely stay here again.

nothing special

i did not like the fact that the room was a little small,and the heat could not be regulated it was either too hot or not hot enough. . not enough toiet tissue in the bathroom what i liked about the days inn the location was convient.

Great Value in Business Accomodations

I've stayed here for last 3 business weeks and this location (by far) offers the best "bang for the buck" in accomodations. What I appreciate are these top-ten things I get with a $45 rate: 1. Extra large room (feels open) 2. High Speed Internet access in room (wireless) 3. King size bed w/ lots of pillows 4. Quality linens (towels nice and thick) 5. Continental Breakfast (I'd otherwise skip breakfast) 6. Work desk and Daily Newspaper 7. Easy-chair to relax 8. Big TV w/ TV Guide and lots of channels 9. Micro/Fridge for personal beverages 10. Nearby choice of sit-down and fast-food dining The front-desk staff has always been friendly and my room is always fresh-and-new when I return in the evenings. This location provides a lot of comfort and ammenities for a relatively low price. Always my choice when staying in Savannah. (This is a non-commissioned response)
