Pretty good we stayed twice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/09
Stopped here on the way to Washington. It was nice enough that we stayed again on the way out. There's a corridor added infront of the rooms that buffers the activity from the 24 hour gas station. The rooms were dark and quiet (for sleeping) and clean and economical. The fixtures might not be the same as at a chain but everything worked. The management was easy to get along with. It's all we needed!

Reasonably Priced - Not too much else...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/09
I am always looking for the best value. When we visted areas, we spend very little time in the hotel/motel. It is just a place to sleep and shower. I like these clean and fresh but I do not carry around a portable microscope as I think some people claim too. However, I requested a non smoking room and the room most certainly was smoked in. I have a toddler with a previous lung condition and this upset me greatly. Also, the staff spoke broken English and I felt it was worth a waste of time to try to communicate why I wanted a different room. The beds were horrible. My husband and I both could hardly walk the next day. It velt like we slept right on the springs. Overall we survived. It is the most reasonbally priced in the area, but don't expect too much.

Great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/07
The new management is great. they have renovated the motel recently and it look wonderful. the looby is nice and clean and has comfy sofas that i just fell in love with. the rooms have all new carpet and furniture. the price is reasonable and is well worth it. i suggest anyone who is in the area to spend the night there.

Not as it used to be
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/06
The ownership has changed. It is not as it used to be. Owners now use 2/3 of what was the lobby as personal living space and it is kept dark and uninviting. There was large amount of mold on bathroom celing, tile walls were spattered, microwave was dirty, stains on chairs and carpet. Motel is now next door to a very busy 24 hour convenience store and gas station. Good in a way because if you want coffee you have to go there to get it. We did not stay our reserved 4 nights. We left after 1.
