Red Roof Inn Aberdeen, Aberdeen

Called ahead for 10pm reservation. Arrived online and waited for 10min for a 3 min checkin. Clerk acted like we was bothering her! Went to room to find no towels. She handed me 2 towels (no wash cloths) for 4 people (I do not know about you but we do not like to dry off with wet towels) Went to room to find missing a pillow and when we went to front desk again we was told we could not get another pillow. Then tried to call from desk from room to ask about internet service and the clerk would not answer phone so we used our cell and she answered. Next morning went down for coffee. Only set of steps to get there and 2 housekeepers was sitting on them smoking and when tried to pass they would not stand instead scooted over and we had to squeeze between them. Found that to be a bit rude. Went to check out and there was small children running around behind desk playing with the papers and telephone. Worker had to get our paper from child and was very rude to everyone in the lobby. WORSE PLACE I have ever stayed!! I have been in many RRI's and this one was horrible!! We choose this hotel because it was close to Aberdeen Proving Ground and our son was graduating from AIT for the Army. What a mistake!

We stayed here in our way to Connecticut, and it was a real nice clean renovated rooms. Very nice front desk management. We loved the complimentary coffee (free). Would stay there again absolutely.

While reserving online I was only able to reserve a 2 dbl smoking room. Upon arriving we were able to upgrade to the "All Inclusive King" room. THe room was supposed to contain : King size bed with the award winning bedding package to enhance sleep comfort Ergonomic chair and L-shaped desk The bed was terrible. It was an old mattress and when we woke in the morning, every bone in our bodies ached. The desk was present but did not include a chair. The supposed ammenties were supposed to include free "expanded" cable, but didn't have more than a few very basic channels and maybe 2 movie channels (of no interest).

We have stayed here numerous times and always enjoy our stay. The rooms are always clean. The employees are always friendly. It is convenient to 95.
