Very nice staff--clean room--convient to restaurants

Room was dank and musty; very old motel in convenient area but will never stay here again.

Great location..kind staff, clean, ambience.... For a few cents more they could parallel what all motels and hotels have: Shampoo and creamer for coffee....had neither... If you offer breakfast..please supply more than a few pastries, coffee and juice or just do not offer....(EX: Cereal, milk, toast...)

Great location Mall very close and close to hospital--Excellent restuarants close--Room was very clean as was the bathroom--Beds were comfortable--Will stay here whenever in town.

We were here on business and let me tell you what, It was the WORST nights sleep I have EVER had! The place is old of course but, come on The mattress was old and DIRTY and The room had a terrible odor! The sheets were worn terribly and the pillows were so lumpy that you could not stand to use them. We could not get our wireless internet to pick up and the Person at the front desk was well.. a smart mouth and really didn't care if things were working or if the mattress was horrible etc... Even the shower was a nightmare very little water came out of it not enough to rinse your hair well and the drain was backed up and water would just stand in the tub I could not stand It!! You get what you pay for so go some where elese and cough up a few more dollars and get a nice room after all when you check into a motel room it is mostly used for a place to rest and sleep and you will NOT get it here. If nothing elese they could get some new beds and sheets. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! And I suggest You Don't Go.

People complain but the price is the thing! just down the road on Franklin Ave., pay 2x and do not get location! Easy access. Sleep - get in and out! The 60s' meldew smell gives a felling of the past! Space - God the space enough room for much more! I am not here for entertainment. Pay $200.00 a night for the same service not too far away and get half the room. Showers of the by-gone era - a shot of "fast" running water not trickling water! LEt someone flush the nearby jon and get a shock of cool water! Basin has fast running water for doing cleaning teeth and and shaving! AAAAhhhh the fan in the shower room - it has a distinct noise! It cranks out a rhythm of its own! Yes the Colony is a distinct motel of the past! The architecture is Loyd Wright's favorite!

We have stayed at the Colony House numerous times over the last 3 or 4 years and our experience was positive.Our rooms were clean, the cleaning staff was pleasant and the desk people were helpful. The outdoor pool was always clean as was the pool area. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. I would and will stay again. I feel the value you get for the money can't be beat.

This hotel was the worst hotel I've ever been in. It wasn't clean at all. The bathroom looked like the 50's and had a bad odor to it. Stayed with some friends and mine was the cleaniest out of them all. I wish I had stayed in a nicer hotel than this!

Room was dirty, sheets were stained, pillows were stained, strange odor in room. Stayed with a group, and our room was the best. Managers were rude and unpleasant. Be afraid - be very afraid.
