Americas Best Value Inn - Williamsburg, Williamsburg

The place was dirty... bathroom tiny... I have stayed in several La Quinta and I was shocked how horrible our room was. You couldn't pay me to go back.

My family stays at La Quinta, Williamsburg year after year. For the value it is great. The rooms are clean and the location is good too. La Quinta in conviently located near Busch Gardens/Water Country, Historic Williamsburg, and a galore of restraunts for evening dining. There is even a Dairy Queen next door. How great for the kids! The staff and management are very helpful and friendly, too. All one has to do is ask. I would definately recommend a stay here.

Uncomfortable beds, extremely noisy guests, dated and dingy decor -- need I say more? It's fine if you're staying a night and there are no other vacancies in town, but I wouldn't bring my family again.

We stayed 9/16 -9/19 and did our reservations online for 2queen beds in smoking on first floor and req ref and mic. We even called that day to let them know we had 2 sm dogs and I was disabled so had to be 1st floor. Then I called 2 hours before we arrived to make sure room, ref and mic were all set up. We get there and are put in a 2nd floor 2dble bed NON smoking room. I called the front desk and it rang 1/2 hour and NO ONE picked up. I then called back and after 15 min someone picked up and I explained the situation and was told that because of Hurricane Katrina that there were no ref or mic and maybe sat. I said that I wanted to change rooms and they would not. Then Sat NO ONE ever called me regarding the ref and mic. I spoke w/ numerous people while out w/ the dogs and no one was there from Katrina HMMMM. Then when we checked out I told the front desk clerk who was not very apoligetic it was more oh well. I then called HQ and the manager of the williamsburg la quinta called and was not helpful at all. He pretty much said he did not care that I had problems and that the "people" from Katirna came first. But where were the people? I would reccomed going elsewhere where if you get a promise/garentee they will abide by it. We will never stay at this Laquinta again and I DO NOT recommend it to anyone!

great hotel,great breakfast,very clean,great staff. We had a wonderful time

This was a wonderful hotel. The room was on the small side, but we were too busy to spend much time in the room!! It is in a great location, close to all of the Williamsburg attractions. The breakfast was fantastic!!
