Stay Inn West Palm Beach Airport Hotel, West Palm Beach

This place has Bed bugs an fleas really bed, The 2 rooms I stayed in had very bad smell. I stayed there six days, General manger had full knowledge about the problems.She never Address the problems. Staff were very nice. Breakfast from 6am-9am was very good. I kept informing them about the problem. Nothing was done. I would tell you to be careful. The Housekeeping staff does not understand english. Front desk , kept telling me they would spray the room, they never did. I will just pay for a better Hotel. just looked in my suit case april 4.2011 to repack, realize my papers are gone, someone in housekeeping went in my stuff and took my papers came down to move an look for a place called hotel to inform them, someone stole my papers, they have information that I had to have to quafity to get in a apartment. I'am going to file a police report.Be careful about important papers don't leave in the room keep on you at all times the person went in my suit case an took them I was very polite to the staff tip them, gave housekeeper nice tip why would she steal from me? just think about what I'm saying, now I have to repay for all my paper work. I guess it does matter if you give nice tips every day to staff. I thought if you treat them like you wanted to be treated they would respect other people property. the person must think they can get away with that it will catch up with them all I know is God saw it. I thought they were very nice people until I found out my papers were gone. My daugther kept asking me why are tiping them so much I understood the kind of work they were doing an we are suppose to tip Thats just me were ever I go. The thing I do I, do unto the LORD! but this is how they showed me by there actions. This made me realize that you have check everthing before you check out people do steal, because they feel they can get away with it because our concerns are getting our plane on time that we need to check everything. Their are always a few bad apples somewhere this does not make all the saff bad the lady that fixes breakfast mon- fri did a beautiful job tip her very well front desk people were very pleasent the drivers were very nice. But the mangers are very rude people, We are the ones that sign there pay checks, they have the wrong people in mangerment, west palm beach is very nice city, Just be CAREFUL .the bus drivers are wonderful people, they go out the way to please you. I've stayed in better hotels before an you seem to always have something to go wrong. Not meaning to speak bad about this place.But I guess if it had not been for certain staff I would of not stayed, but the people who did do there job were wonderful but upper need to change there staff around seems to me they need to clean house. Put new people in there. For the pets I know people Love them and they might pay extra for them to stay there but for the ones who have no pets we are the ones thats suffers the fleas are a bit much this hotel is not cleaning the rooms, fleas bed bugs are very bad there. they sweep the rooms out with a broom.the fleas have free course in rooms right with the bed bugs an when you request for something to be done they act like its nothing wrong there. Or staff does not speak english so they can't clean up there act. The smell in the room makes you sick. I had to go buy air freshers it was to much I kept air up high every single day for 6 days. who ever made the bed put blanket half way up, they didn't know how to make a bed, Hotels like this get away with so much, because we are just passing through, not enough time for anything to really be done.Yyou realize your personal belonging is mssing after you're home. An they are in west palm beach laughting at all us saying I got you. How many people have storys like this to tell . Stay INN west palm beach clean up your act, CLEAN THE ROOMS TAKE CARE OF FLEASES AN BED BUGS SHAMPOO THE CARPETS THE BAD SMELLS HAVE TO GO, WE NEED PEOPLE WHO DO SPEAK ENGLISH

I had intended to stay at the Best Western at 1505 Belevedere RD in West Palm Beach FL for about 5 nights but ended up staying only one. The room was a rank smelling, dirty concrete box. You could not open the one window, or even leave the curtain open as everyone was walking by and looking in. The carpet was ripped, the old TV had marginal reception, the cheezy coffee maker was broken. The front desk attitude was down right hostile. They refused to honor my AARP/Trevelocity rate and projected a take it or leave policy. I decided to leave it and went to my room to look up a new hotel in the phone book. But wait, there is no phone book, and no bible, no travel guides, NO NOTHING! When I requested a phone book from housekeeping they just laughed, and told me in broken English " See the front desk". When I went to the front desk I was told "We don't loan out phone books anymore, people never bring them back." OMG, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I have stay at Best Western Hotels often and this is without a doubt the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

This was not what I expected for $100 a Night. Very, very old Hampton. I was very disappointed.

The hotel was acceptable for an overnight stay
