Thin Walls
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/07
My husband and I came to get away from kids and noise. We stayed Thursday-Sunday, Nov 1-4, thinking it would be a dead time of year. It was fairly non-populated on Thursday, but it seems by Friday night a lot of families checked in. Our room was surrounded with noisy, slamming doors, thumping noises up until 12:30 a.m. and all day. The walls are paper thin.
The property is decently attractive and the ocean view is great.
Only has old fashioned internet where you have to run a cord from the wall behind the TV, across where you walk, to the bed to get on the internet with your laptop. "Wireless" is in the lobby only - whoopee.
A security guard ran my husband and I out of the hot tub at 8:45 pm Saturday evening because he had a beer bottle sitting next to him. There was no one else around, and we're in our late 40's and were just sitting there being quiet. I guess she was bored and needed someone to boss around.
We won't be back. There's 100's of motels here.
