Lake N Pines Motel, Cooperstown

After searching online for a place to stay while visiting Cooperstown, we stumbled onto Lakes N Pines. What a find !! Exceptional location (10 minutes from Cooperstown village), incredible lake views, spotless accomodations, and super clean recently updated bathroom. The only draw back was the matress, desperately needs updating, but I would certainly go back regardless. Planning to return next year !! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful View. The breakfast room is very nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Their indoor pool and jacuzzi are great. Only a few miles from town. Verizon wireless service extends there. Thank you, Lake & Pines Owners and Staff!

We chose this motel after looking at many other options in Cooperstown and we are glad we did! The views were spectacular and the motel room was comfortable. Our kids loved the pools and the gameroom and we enjoyed grilling with the lake-view. The location was great, close enough for the early morning trips to Dreamspark for baseball, but far enough away to feel as though our trip wasn't all about baseball! We will recommend to anyone going to Cooperstown and hope to come back again someday.

We liked everything about the motel. Two grandchildren, my sister and I stayed at the motel mid-August and were very impressed with the clean, quiet rooms we were assigned. The air conditioner was more than adequate for the 80 degree plus temperatures. We used the indoor and outdoor pools, plus the sauna and spa. We also went in the paddle boats. The grounds around the motel were well-maintained and very clean. Every employee we encountered was friendly and accommodating, answering various questions in a friendly manner. The owner was present and gave us great tips for family restaurants. The free continental breakfast overlooking the lake offered a wide variety of food and drinks - something for everyone! The price for our stay was a great value for the money. The motel is close to Cooperstown, a quaint village with lots of charm. We plan to return to the motel again soon.

We found this hotel on the internet and took a chance on it - we weren't disappointed. Location was great. Beautiful views of the lake, and the grounds of the hotel were well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Our son really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. Continental breakfast is included, with breakfast served in a cute lakeside building with a deck. We'd go back!

The Motel was recommended by AAA. We had an awesome view of the Lake, from our room. Spacious room well maintained and clean. The indoor pool and Spa was great after a day of traveling. We would highly recommend this Motel to anyone traveling to Cooperstown. Was about $80, less than the big name hotels going into Cooperstown on Rte 28. Outstanding value and a great setting.

We had checked in earlier over the phone, but arrived late when no one was around. We still got into our room and was surprised the next morning by how beautiful that area and our view was from our room. The breakfast was great and had a beautiful deck to boot. I'd love to go back!!

We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accomodating. The location is great and very rewarding. Our grandchildren had a great time swimming in both pools. We are very glad we are able to get a cottage again this year (2008).

We stayed at the 3 bedroom cottage on out first trip to Cooperstown, in 2001. We just stayed there again on out secondtrip. Great views, friendly, no problems. Bedding needs to be replaced in the cottage, but wasn't horrible. We love to stay here!. Great view of the lake and a nice drive into Cooperstown.

This place has a great view and plenty of ice. It ends there. We stayed 2 nights in the newer section but it had VERY old mattresses. When I sat on the bed I bottomed out, and I am 210 pounds. They advertise wireless internet and it did not exist. Others complained of the same. The water pressure in the shower was very low. All of these concerns were mentioned to the desk and the attidude seemed to be non caring. For 165.00 per night plus tax one would expect a bit more than a view and ice.
